Has anybody tuned this little monster yet? This thing is fun to drive! You can win races against >300 BHP cars with 80HP.

Make sure you get the EA21R Cappuccino, you can't RM the other one.

I thought I had seen a tune for the Cappuccino some time back, but I searched in here and couldn't find any.

It must get murdered on a longish straight! Bet its good on Autumn ring

It definitely gets killed on the straights, but it makes up for it through the turns. I entered it into the Beginner FR challenge at 80+ HP against cars in the 300s. You can fly into, through, and out of corners (fly is a relative term with 80 HP). I'd build a big lead at Grand Valley until the long straight and look in my mirror. It looked like I was a very strong magnet and they all came flying at me. But, I was able to win all the races in that group, it was fun!

Are any tuners interested in maximizing the Cappuccino RM's potential? I'm not a tuner, but would like to see how far I can progress with this car with it maxed out in every way, including set-up.

Even stock RM with no fine tuning grips like glue

This is true. I turbo-charged mine to get it over 100 hp and handed it over to my new level 3 Bob. He was winning races against much more powerful AI cars, because even HE couldn't spin it out.

i raced the little cappuccino last night for the seasonal events and i have to say I LOVED IT!!! i was very very very suprised. i did not do the RM on it. i would not have seen any credit profit from the event. so i just added the bodykit, some power upgrades, lvl-1 weight, windows and carbon hood. for a little car with only 126hp (doubled from the stock 63) it was a lot of fun!!! aftermarket rims and painted them black.

one thing i have to say and give PD credit for is that they created a set of bodykits for the RM cars. they could have taken the lazy way out but they didnt.

Child,

Try different settings, but its really very good and I realized that to my way of driving, not to move early in the corners, this configuration the car is easier to ride but how to get into the corners is coming later but LSD you used the car does not skid at the exit of the curve, I will try more settings and give him a return

thank you for their hard work and patience in the car tunner

it sounds like its going to explode because it is a 3cylinder engine... not as smooth as say a v12.

@RODDUZ
i cant remember the exact shift point right now but i know i shifted well below the redline. atleast 1000rpm below the redline because of the power curve. it drops off too sharply for my taste. and yeah i went below 5000rpm as well.

I've had an amazing amount of fun with this little car. If it hadn't been for the seasonal events I doubt i would have ever tried it out.

Test track Tsukuba
Cappuccino(EA21R)RM 95 + all remaining upgrades.133BHP 590kg
Tested in practise mode real grip, driving line and ABS1 only aides, using DFGT

Top speed setting 118mph
Default settings,car handled surprisingly well.
Consistantly hitting round 1:03.xxx mark
Best lap = 1:02.667

Tune by A Child
Top speed setting 118mph
Consistantly hitting round 1:01.8xx mark.A notable improvement in handling(which was pretty good to start with)
Best lap = 1:01.530

With these settings i think it might be enough for the 9hr Tsukuba enduro(i'll certainly give it a try when i unlock it)
Don't suppose you fancy tuning a Fiat 500 F '68 do you?

Cappuccino(EA21R)95 all upgrades except race mod 133BHP 619kg
Using my own tune was hitting round the 1:05.xxx mark
Using A Child tune
Hitting round 1:03.xxx mark
Best lap = 1:02.760

The Cappuccino is an awsome little monster ,i've already golded 300km Grand valley + 200miles Laguna Enduros with my badly tuned non race modded car

Great tune. used it on the Cappucino (EA21R) '95. The handling feels squishy and sluggish but that same suspension just glues this thing to the corners. It's a pretty rad sensation to feel so slow only to then zip by everybody on each turn. 👍
