I recognise that Cusco Impreza. I think the guy who did that picture made an awesome one of a 3 series BMW that I loved, and also a Skyline.

I have to but in here-

ALWAYS finish drawings. As I used to be unhappy with some, I'd toss em out, but now even if I make a bad design/drawing I continue to just add some more ink over it and I'm often amazed that such a bad thing could turn out so good.

Ive done some freehands with a reference to C&D's Page-A-Day Calendar. I have a few pictures of cars but here are some emblems;

Hey, 95GTIVR6, I think you'd enjoy doing the 'radiator cap' ornamentation on the Chrysler Building in New York. The shadows play off pretty well, and are always fun to sketch out. :)

I made these a long, long while ago, (back then, I had a scanner) they are crap and not finished.

I find it difficult to draw a car in 3D, does someone has a link with a tutorial?

Ok I finally did some new artwork on holiday expect to see it tonight or in the next cople of days.

Well... I think I should contribute to this thread. I don't have a lot of car drawings on hand from prespective, mostly linearts & profile, but I do have others. Ex, this transport I made like a week ago real quick:

TVR fan, you really gotta work on your perspective - the cars still look misshapen, despite your notable improvement.

Hi tvr&ferrarifan, I stumbled across page 1 of your thread tonight by accident (because of my very poor search skills, was looking for something to help me with special conditions on GT4!) but skanned through the whole lot. All 15 pages of the thread. very interesting to see how you improved through the last few years- and good on ya for keeping posting, considering the harsh critisicsm- can't be easy hearing some of that! Keep it up man, the enthusiasm will get you far, whatever you end up doing. You know, somebody will be doing that job in a few years time. Why not you? I really liked your sketches of the Datsun 240z and the recent Porsche.

In my opinion, there's some sharks around in education at the moment, they get funding dependant on how many people they can attract onto their course. So they'll tell you whatever to get you to sign up. If you're that serious about it, (it seems like you are) I would get some independant careers advice. I'm not sure what you mean by "car design", but I reckon you need a bit of engineering education to design cars, not just art school, to be considered seriously for a job.

I was on holiday and could not get a good place in the house I stayed in too draw and thanxs bud.

Finding a good place to just sit and draw is hard. I haven't found one myself for nearly 2 years. Practice wherever you can.

i just use my binder i got my work in to draw on and thats sometimes all i need, tho if im really inspired i might need a whole room to spread out books and paper an stuff :D

Eh, pretty much the same here.

Scanned in another misc. drawing.

She's got a bit of a nasty twist going down her centerline.

I was wondering if someone would be intrested in drawing my truck for me since my skills are crap. I don't even care if its cartoon, realistic, whatever. Like I said stick people is about the extent of my skills.

Here you go... but it's more like a WIP... tell me what you think and I'll make changes to it. Note: I can't bring myself to put the circles in the lights, sorry. :guilty:

Holy crap thats freakin bad ass! That pwns my drawing skills by about a million times. 👍
