No. It's the car he's drawing. I have my drawings ready.

Which brings me to: I haven't posted anything today.

1932 Ford. Hard to believe this is almost 10 years old now.

Oh right, Yeah i forgot you mentioned about an immanent large drawing post coming our way.
Cool! 32 Ford, really diggin those rear sidewalls. 👍

For the bestestest result, ink it. Scanning pencil will result in something like the Fox Mustang I posted up there.

@ DarkAvenger.

Cano's right, would look much better if you ink it. Although it can depend on what you plan to do to with your drawing in photoshop (that's presuming you're using photoshop). i find with my pencil/pen sketches, i generally just use them as templates, rather than a finished item.
The difference between pencil 'vs' pen scan is night and day, as can be seen from this little concept i'm working on at the moment: (done in pencil and pen)

Obviously, if you plan on inking your drawing, be sure to take more time with neatness than i did  (though you can clean it up in photoshop, so not a huge issue).

PS, Cano.
No prizes for guessing what my retro concept is, i'm just going through a Bertone phase at the moment. (and hopefully making good use of them wheels).

I actually saw some of your work when I was surfing Deviant Art yesterday, and they look absolutely stunning! Also love your blogspot, too, especially with the Fiorano!

You should also check out Klem's work as well. I may think your guys' talents are very corresponding.

Thanks for the link.

I have no words for Klem's work.

Indeed, that's exactly what i was thinking... their drawing talents seem almost on par with each others.

Excellent!! work przemson. 👍

Small update to the concept i'm working on at the mo:

Basically threw a white layer (opacity reduced to 75%) over the top of the initial pencil/pen sketch, then threw down some rough colours to get more of a feel for the form. Both white & colour layer will be deleted at some point so i can do a neater job.

Are you sure? I'm about to spew it out but if there's no prize, there's no glory!

Awesome rethink my friend, I really REALLY like how the taillights integrate in the bodywork, and of course, your wheels blow my mind every damned time. They are as good a retro-modernization of original stuff as the car itself.

Heck, that's really freaking good. Color pencils too, one of my favorite media, albeit I haven't used them in ages.

I maaaay sound harsh here (in fact take the "may" away, I'll sound harsh) but there is no comparison, the newcomer (sorry) is very good and of course knows what he's doing, some of those pictures are almost photograph-like, but they lack the dynamics that Klem gives his work, which is the special touch that makes his work very very charming. Przemus are "just" copys of photos, I am not implying that is anything bad, but they lack that certain something that's so distintive about Klem's drawings. Different styles completely. No comparison as I said.

I kind of agree with you Cano, as both artists are different (maybe i was wrong to draw a comparison between them)... they seem to have a similar technical ability though (imo). I think that Klems work has an almost pop-art feel to it (for want of a better term), which is obviously his special touch, whereas przemons work seems to focus strictly on photo-realism.. though i'm sure if he wanted, he could also adapt his style to something similar to what Klem does (not saying that it's easy though).

PS. Cheers Cano, 👍 I knew you'd spot it straight away. I was in two minds about the rear lights... thought they'd mistake the identity for a Porsche 914 , but yeah, i'm happy with the way they are (sympathetic towards the original but not the same shape). Glad you like the wheels aswell, 👍 though i may actually substitute them for something else (don't know yet). I've got a good idea of what the front of the car's gonna look like (already done a rough pencil sketch), and will be integrating similar front headlights from an existing car of the same brand.

Oh, and sorry about no prizes for guessing.

Just wanted to inform eager people that the linework is done and colour will begin tomorrow morning. What's that? You want to see the linework? Nope, ain't showing you. Sorry. :P

Starting a new drawing with my lovely new set of pencils. I haven't had this amount of free time in years. Unemployment rocks!

If you have enough money left over to pay your bills and feed yourself that is ;) .

Thank you guys for all the opinions

Couple new classics...

Hope you like them

Love the BMW and Porsche. 👍
How do you manage the bleed of markers on cartridge paper? the last time i tried using Pantones on cartridge it was a disaster for me... i must have obviously been doing something wrong. :indiff:

*I even tried bordering with ink before adding colour.. but it was still shoddy for me*

It's cool finding/rediscovering pics you've done a good while ago isn't it.

There's seems to be a bit of improvement of your toon style when compared to your current works (imo), but it still looks mighty fresh. 👍

You are right. But I thought of it as terms of talent (I should have added that bit in that post, but I was in a hurry whilst that time). Both of them do produce very marvelous work. On the other hand, it didn't share the same styles, as what I should have conveyed there. That didn't mean though that either person will lack in their talent.

Oh, you don't have an idea. One day I'll show the very first cartoons I did. I look at them now and it's like "awwwww"

Klem's work is my favorite, been following him for years!👍

Though I think I missed your realism drawing of a friends Camaro you "just copied."
