First of all I stay with my feet on the ground on the news but compared to what you posted, the article speaks precisely about the type of content that we have and especially talks that we will have another comprehensive update in April is this leads me to think that the news could be likely.
The Mercedes "leak" was discussed in these forums, with .it a confirmation by PDI. We only saw the SLS GT3, in the GT6 trailer.
Thing is, Audi did "leak" a truth. Gazoo Racing, did promote a car coming. I think Fittipaldi was another, outside of PDI, that gave us correct info.
Just piggy-backing as Famine pointed out, how they got that specific info before something on twitter or even a subscriber here, I don't know.
This news, is from a party not associated with PDI. As I posted, if it's true, good.

I think fantasy tracks from previous GT games are what everyone wants :) like Deep Forest and Trial Mountain....

I must be alone on this then but with every update I pray there are no fantasy tracks, new or from old GT titles. Real world is what we need. Motegi, Silverstone, Spa, LeMans, Sebring, Imola to name but a few. These should always have priority over fantasy tracks.

You know, I hate to be that guy, but could the article be accidentally mis-labelling the content across January and Feburary's updates, where the former had the FT-1 and the latter having "two new tracks" - or in this case, layouts, in the form of the Blue Moon Bay infield sections?

It should be interesting in the coming weeks what comes to light however, once the GR Supra does arrive, if it'll arrive alone or with company :P

The Gran Turismo April update will come 24thish as usual.
We don't know that yet either. The December to March DLC strategy was the subject of a PSBlog post (and even then faintly vague - just giving an "around 50 cars" target over the 4 months without sharing a schedule).

We know nothing about the post-March plans yet - unless PD/PS has announced it while I'm at large today and I haven't seen it.

I reckon they will carry on monthly... considering they adopted the title format of 'The Gran Turismo *month* Update', this seems to indicate a continuing pattern.

I think so. "Please look forward to the April update of Gran Turismo Sport" makes it sound like we're getting another content update, just like those in the previous months. Or, at least, that's how I read it. We'll know in 10 days if Kaz teases it again on Twitter.

Hate to pee on cornflakes, but that video footage looks nothing like GT Sport based purely on the car physics. It doesn't behave anything like GT Sport - it looks more like the old GT86 TV Advert here in the UK that was CGI'd.

Yep the video doesn't look like GT at all... Sure locations have similiraties but that's it.

"On March 6, Toyota introduced the "GR Supra Racing Concept" at the Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland. This concept car will be added to Gran Turismo Sport in the April update, and only Gran Turismo players will be able to experience its performance."

quoted from the article that PD released about the Supra. Seems to me like they will continue their current update pattern at least for April, and that the Supra will most likely be added along with other cars.

Well, this isn't a random car blogger or YouTuber, this is a legit mag. And they are being very specific about 11 cars and 2 tracks. So it seems to me they have some inside info or PD leaked it to them directly.

La Sarthe and Spa are coming back??!?!?!?!!!!!

 jk jk, if the video is a hint maybe one of the old tokyo tracks is coming back? That would be cool

Or they've just made a prediction based on the last four months of DLC updates.

Back in the buildup to GT5 there was a preview article in Game Informer that said IndyCar was going to be in the game.

Even legit magazines with connections can get things wrong.

Let's not dismiss this article, it could very well be true based on the current pattern we've been seeing... But nothing has been said regarding updates after March, apart from the Audi VGT. Although that Instagram post with the Mark 3 Supra and the caption "Waiting for the April update be like" seems to suggest that something large is dropping soon.

If were getting any more updates this month, it's possible that were gonna get some more gr2 cars. Having 3 only to choose from when there are many more makes no sense. Another track or new layouts make sense. Maybe we will get trial mountain or deep forest or midfield, those make the most sense to me.

The Gr.2 cars are based from Super GT500. There are only three models in that series. The only other cars that use those regulations(next year), are DTM(AUDI, BMW, AMG). If you mean those should be added, I'm all for it.

Meh, I bet these 2 new tracks are just different layouts of existing ones.

I'm definitely not counting on them to bring the most famous tracks right now on free updates(unless paid DLC won't be a thing in this game on the future).

But alas, better than nothing.

I really REALLY doubt Paid DLC will be a thing. PD wouldn't want to divide their community between people who can pay for the DLC and people who can't, as it would ruin the whole Sport Mode dynamic because half of their players can't play on that track or use the meta car because it's locked behind a paywall.
