308GTB for me. Easy (for a Ferrari) to work on, fun to drive, relatively inexpensive. Wouldn't feel bad modifying it.

Almost chose the 360, as it's such a good car though.

This was an easy one. Had to be the 355, probably the last Ferrari made that I would want to own.

360, only one I've driven and it was a blast, especially with the 6 speed gated manual. It also looks good, and was a childhood Ferrari.

Easily the 458 Italia, the best sounding and fastest N/A V8 Ferrari before the 488, not to mention it's also drop-dead gorgeous to look at. Honourable mention goes to the 355, my previous favourite.

The 512 is a V12, not a V8. Why its not in the poll.

But 355 for me. It was tough for me to choose between a classic 308 or 360, so I went for the best one (IMO) that fits in the middle.

Oh, didn't do my research right, Well, then 355 was already my numero uno for v8's mid engined then.

Can't help but feel the one that should win this poll isn't included, and I don't really understand why... It's a Ferrari, it's got a V8 and it's mid engined.

Certainly would be my pick. And could the 288 GTO have been included too? Or am I wrong?

Yep, the F40's engine traces its roots to the 288 GTO, as does the suspension and various bits and pieces.

360 Modena. Was my dream car for quite a while and is one of the most beautiful cars made since the 60's IMHO.

458 Italia. Best looking (and sounding) car out of the choices. 355 would be a close second.

Including the supercar GTO and F40 probably would've swung the vote exclusively towards those two models. I chose this lineup to poll the bread and butter lower end cars.

A good nomination for a future thread would be GTO, F40, F50, Enzo, and La Ferrari. Or front-engine V12s, like the Daytona up to the F12.

Strange poll as the lineage of the mid-engined V8s doesn't usually take in the 2+2 308 GT4 and Mondial, however had to go for the 488. Much as I love the styling of the 308, the performance is just a tad bit underwhelming. The 328 was quicker but less pretty. The 488 I think looks superb and is such a capable all-rounder, so gets my vote. McLaren rather pulled the rug from under the 458's feet with the 12C and later the 650 and 670 (performance-wise at least), but the 488 really came out fighting.

OP needs to correct the 2015- model to 488 by the way :)

Pretty sure there's no such thing as an F355 GTB? And that's a regular 458, not a Speciale.

Either way, I vote 355 👍

GTB refers to the hardtop model. It does say 458 (comma) Speciale, including both. As it also does with the 360 model.
