Actually, all of the cars here are more affordable than the Viper and Corvette. (Technically, as the SS is only a few grand cheaper but still). Also, the Viper and Corvette don't have back seats. It goes with the AMX argument, which usually is ruled a no as unless it's a special model with the seats removed, it must have back seats to be considered a muscle car. The Viper fits that definition more than the SS or the Charger.
