What the hell is going on with car prices? I didn't see massive amounts of prize money. 30,000,000 for a Mustang Gr. 3 Road Car. Or 3,500,000 for a Nissan Silvia '02. 9,477,000 Nissan GT-R. How are we supposed to enjoy a core element of GT - Collecting cars? I see 3 options:

Grind your a*s off for years / Buy cars (or maybe credits?) in the PS-Store / Look for another thing to do

At least the credit cap seems to be gone or significantly raised...

I hope you're right, but it's really confusing. The rest of the video shows "normal" prices. Whether it's tuning parts, GT Auto, used or legendary cars. Doesn't make much sense to throw in some japanese numbers only for Brand Central.

Lots of people capturing lots of footage in lots of different places. There were different prices shown in the previous footage as well.

I didn't even know the amounts reflect local currencies in the game. Makes sense though since 40 000 yen for a car is just silly.

To be fair; finding a an unused 2001 model of pretty much any half decent car twenty years later would probably imply a steep price tag ':/

Or PD, in their quest for realism, have reflected the current global economic picture, with respect to how inflation is beginning to run wild in many economies 🙃

In GT7 you too can work three jobs for an asshole boss in order to be able to afford a downpayment on a 15 year old Corolla running on three cylinders. You will not be able to afford gas. Or tyres. Or food.

Gran Turismo: The Real Driving Simulator.

If you watched the English version of the video that came out like 2 days ago you'll clearly see that all the prices for Western-market games are similar to actual prices in USD/Euro/Canadian/etc. Kaz literally said the used car prices will reflect real-world market prices for desirable cars, thus a $100,000+ R32 GT-R.

A 2005 Mini was like 25,000 though! So I'm sure some liberties have been taken especially with the lower price cars so they're not too cheap.
