TUNER COMMENTS:

This car is for stage 5. Very easy to drive and super fast. It feels just like a Lotus Elise only much more power.

I tried your set-up but the car is much understeer (it is the typical problem og california) and a little slow to change direction. I continue to believe that the elise is the best compromise between power and agility, may be I need to tweak the set-up that I sent you..?

You have to drive the California like the mercedes. Let off the gas completely and the car will turn closer to the corner. In my Elise it was fast but I got much slower times than the California. I haven't been to my ps3 at all yesterday hopefully I'll get a chance today and test your tune.

Thanks Shmogt. I appreciate your help and your patience, maybe my way of driving is aggressive so even tire wear is excessive too. With California I have major power and speed in straightaway but it is slow in all curves, on the contrary with elise I am a little slower in straightaway but faster in all curves and the tires wear out more slowly.

I'm guessing you are using a wheel while I am using a controller. People with wheels always need a slightly different tune or to change their driving style a bit. I found the Elise to be very good over all, but was 2sec slower than the Ferrari. That was with my tune tho maybe yours is much better. To drive the California just be slow and make sure you do not go off the driving line. If you start going of the line let off some gas. It will feel slower, but you are actually traveling faster since it has more power. Turns that you have understeer do the same thing. Let off the gas, make sure you can make the turn than back on the gas. It's the only way to drive fast cars.

Double post! Wait I checked your settings and nothing adds up. You must be using a Elise RM. I didn't know that was allowed

This car is for stage 5. Very easy to drive and super fast. By far the fastest car for this track. It's too easy to drive and extremely fast. You will win.

Ehi shmogt you used elise rm 04 but i can use elise r 04 but maybe is the same, is it ok?

I don't know what your question is. I asked if I could use the race modified one and you said yes and that you have used it before. So I made it for that.

Maybe I was confused. The elise "R" and elise "RM" are the same car? Maybe the dufference between them is the second is the race version. Is it correct?

The normal Elise is 111R you than buy that one and race modify it so it looks the same but has some more race car stuff in it. It's than Elise 111RM. This tune you can try for the normal Elise if you want but I made it for the rm so I'm not sure how it will do. The California for me beats the normal Elise tho.

Ok ok I understand. I'll race with RM version. Now I check your tuning.

I asked you if it was ok since it was a race car and you said it's fine that you have used the race version before. So definitely use it if you can, but if you can't than the Ferrari is faster

Ok shmogt I can use a race version infact I tried it and it is fast, my best time with pad is 1.19.3 but this time is improved with wheel. ASAP I'll try with my DFGT and I tell you the time updated.

Yes I found it very fast and super easy to drive. I'm sure you will win over anything else.

I knew some racers best time is 1.5 second less me....:-( but It is impossible to know wich car they used. I need more practice.

The key to La Sarthe is ignoring the entire track, and focusing on only the final sector. Find the car that you can get the best Final Sector time in. Everything else is about staying in the draft, conserving tires. When the time comes, make the pass in the final sector or force the driver ahead of you to over drive, by pressuring them into a mistake. Overtake them and enjoy your win.

They have to be using the same car. Also in a race the the Elise rm will be easier to drive than the others so there fast laps now won't matter. Remember to draft people on the straights and do not hit any of the walls. Stick as close as you can to the inside corner when turning.

Schmogt I improved my time .... 1.17.8! I think it's a good time :-). This time I used the manual gear and I think this is better!
EDIT:
1.17.617 :D

lol ya that's a spectacular time. Manual gears is always faster too. Do some laps to see how tire ware is, I think it should be good, but I don't know.

Hey I changed the transmission settings. Go to tuning than settings sheet and click a different one to try these new settings. Everything is the same except the transmission. Press rest than enter everything again on it. Also I use mph.
