I need to find out some specs on my Blazer such as: Weight, Top Speed, 0-60, 1/4 mile, length, width, and height. Can anyone direct me somewhere please?

You got 'em all right, but you missed 1/4 mile.

Seriously, though... RTFM! Weight, length, height, and width should all be listed somewhere in the owner's manual. 0-60, top speed, and 1/4 mile can be found easily via google search. I doubt it's top speed is over 100... 110 at most. Just hit the highway, and see for yourself real quick.:P

haha. I dont like suvs or trucks, but thats not why i said that. I was just giving him ****. Telling him his car is slow.

I would guess the 0-60 is probably between 8 and 10 seconds though. And the things gotta weigh 5000 atleast for sure.

Probably slower than that. My friend had a 2.2L 5spd GMC Sanoma before he totaled it. A lot of places/magazines claimed the 0-60 on that to be around 12 seconds. Even the 4.3 V6 Sanoma was assdraggin' slow.

If his Blazer has a 2.2L it's got to be incredibly, no... ridiculously slow. If it has a 4.3L it's still slow.:P Definitely not meant to be raced - at all.

damn, haha. Im used to car times. I know that a 100hp crx does like 0-60 in 10. I try and base my estimations off of that. so street racer, you get blown by any 100hp crx's lately?

ok I topped it out today and it was 105, but its limited I found out. My friend told me his S-10 0-60 is 6 seconds.

Thanks for the dimensions though.

I don't even think a supercharged 4.3L V6 S-10 could pull 0-60 times anywhere in the 6 second range. Maybe an S-10 with a heavily modded 350.

0-60 in 6.7 seconds I tried it out tonight. That was going down a on ramp to I-75 and my friend took the time.

haha, sorry, but no way. My car has 215hp (i think 20 more than you), and the car weighs only 2700lb. With a raised revlimiter I no longer need to shift to 3rd to reach 60. I do it in about 6-7 seconds.

Going down hill, maybe. But you really need a more precise way of timing. Its so easy to be off by a half second. I tried timing with my incar timer, and I got 6.5. I didnt take it too seriously. I cant wait to try out a gtech meter or go to the 1/4 track.

Now that I think of it, do you think the extra traction helps for launching? Or wait, your blazer is RWD.

Oh yea, and thats my car with g-force KD tires. Not drag radials, but they have the most grip of any non r-compound tire.

So Advan..Been blown away by any Blazers lately?
Streetracer..I will take your word on your times..A friend of mine has a 2002 blazer. I was suprised how quick they are.

I dont race anyone often, but it actually wouldnt surprise me. Driving this car i expect to get blown away by other cars. Its from the 80s and has a 4-cylinder, its pretty sad.

But I really dont think a blazer is that quick. Id like to see what mine and your car could do, accurately, like with a g-tech meter. If it is, its from low end grunt or better traction. In the quarter mile Im quite sure I would kill him.

Does anyone know what blazers run for the 1/4? I am guessing I run 14.7+. I will find out in the next couple weeks.

Well the only 1/4's I've seen was on the old Blazers and that was what I used on CD. It said 16 @ 87mph but that was a four wheel drive lifted one. I'm going to change that. I have the feeling its in the 14's.

Also ya I might have 195hp but I'm pushing 255 lb. ft. of torque. Its all low end torque too. The peak is at 2500rmp so its all there under accel. When I go to the track in a few weeks I'll get the offical time.

yea, you have a lot of torque on me, thats why I think your blazer is quick off the gun, but once you go through the gears, I think I could take you. Just like any other NA 4-cyl, I have ****ty torque, and the peak is up there.

I bet you could run the quarter in 15 something. Thats really decent actually. I just dont think it could do 14s. Could you beat an integra type R?

BTW, I dont think ive told you, I think your car would be pretty cool to have. Looks sweet, practical, quick, somewhat different (for a younger person). Dont want you to get the impression I hate you or your car.

You should pull 16's at 80-90mph. My fastest time in my truck was a 15.987 @ 88mph. I don't think your not gonna break that unless you mod it up a bit.

My good friend has a 12lb Intercooled Supercharger on his and he is pushing low 14's, he might break 13's as he gets better with it. I have been looking for stats on our truck, and all i got was the same stuff. :banghead:

I see you don't remember the Chevy Cyclone and Hurricane (I believe). Look them up and you will find a FACTORY Turbo'd Chevy Blazer (the little one, not the behemoth) and S-10 that will run a 348 Ferrari in the 1/4 mile.

What people fail to realize is that the 4.3 V-6 has real potential. See the mistakes comes when everyone reads V-6. Forget that part for second... its a 4.3 liter engine. Thats a good size motor, think about it a mustang GT only has come with a 4.6 liter V-8. What because it has V-8 attached to it, that makes it a way better motor? All the 4.3 liter V-6 is, is the small block V-8 missing its final two cylinders. With the right tuning weather it be from GM or aftermarket, there is no reason it wouldn't be able to stomp a lot of cars.

Just my 4.3 V-6 rant. ;)

So I would win in the quarter? Thats what I thought. I know those specs arent final yet though.

But you know what this car costs to maintain? In the past couple months I have spent over 1500 on it. first the intake gasket was leaking badly, to replace that costed 1100 at a good shop. Then the distributor rotor, once it was put in, it only cost 20, but I had to drive a ****ty civic for a few days thinking my m3 had blown. Then I just replaced the waterpump last night, about 250 for all the parts.

Yes I remember the Cyclone, and Typhoon.

I was talking about Blazers, and S-10's/Sanoma's. Not Typhoons, and Cyclones. They're not regular Blazer's/S-10's. But, like I said it'd take a supercharged(or turbo in this case) V6, or modded 350 to make one fast.
