The blue cover has a curved rear fender line, which is not matching to the straight rear fender line at the Lotus.

IT COULD BE SOME VARIANT OF THE 86!

You also need to factor in the fact that the cover doesn't fit the car completely skin-tight; the cover is baggy. try to look past the wrinkles...

I must bee seeing something entirely different because it looks very very close to the shape of the 'blue cover.'

I don't know why but the rear end looks from a Z4M but the window line doesn't match because the Z4M is taller. The bonnet of the Z4M is as long as this but the front bumper doesn't match as well because the covered car appers to be pointy and Z4's is roundish.

Long curved low nose + angled rear end.
I think as others suggested it will be a new Nissan Z.
This one will probably be bigger than the 370Z, and more similar to the 350Z.
I speculate we will be able to drive it in the upcoming demo.

Nah bro, that car is not the car under the blue cover, that cover looks terrible. it's a photoshop just to have something as a cover to attract pre-orders.
Even the "6" looks different from the official GT6 Logo.
