Are you running Overdrive on your 9800XT? That would probably boast your overall score somewhat. I currently have it running my 9600XT at 526 mhz.

I noticed that after upgrading to the latest version of the Catalyst drivers that Overdrive became available while it wasn't included with the drivers on my installation cd.

Also, isn't the 9800XT similar in core clockspeed to the 9600XT but has a few more rendering pipelines?

At least your videocard and motherboard aren't fighting because of an incompatibility. I may have to put my Ti4200 back in for the time being until I get cash for a new motherboard.

I have a 9800 Pro, not an XT. The Radeon cards from the 9700 series up have the 8 pipelines, anything below has 4.
