it's probably a time to think about the future of the forum

It's just not a priority right now. All of the most relevant (or most-liked, as that's the relevance of the forum!) threads are fine as they are, and GT7's car list and DLC strategy is probably already finalised or close to it. Moderator time is best spent elsewhere.
