Cars that look best in odd colors

I was thinking today that post-12C Mclaren's remind me of kayaks. They all look very plasticy and come in loud kayak-y colors. Started to get me wondering...can anyone find a kayak in a color that isn't readily available from Mclaren? Maybe there are some more somber colors for hunting or fishing type kayaks out there.

Designo Varicolor and other non-standard colors are proof that even Benz has fun once in awhile.

This era of Mercedes Benz was just...fantastic. Those CLs (both generations you posted, really) exude class and design sophistication. Can you imagine the MB of today doing a hood as complicated as the one on the W202? Look at this thing:

That is a complicated part to make, and I bet Mercedes prided themselves on being able to pull it off at volume. This is a W213 hood by comparison lol

I think because of how famous and successful it was, it's taken for granted that the Ruf CTR looks amazing in a horribly garish shade of yellow that would look ridiculous on almost any other car.

Could this be a Lamborghini factory color? This really looks like the shade of yellow that was available for the Diablo in the 90‘s.
