GT Falcon Phase IV
and Holden Torana XU2, both in the mid 70s I think
They were going to be the fastest sedans in the world, possibly one of the fastest cars but those pussies that were ruling Australia stopped it from happening

vector W8 twin turbo. never REALLY made it into production. maybe a 3 speed auto gearbox didnt quite appeal to enthusiasts! heh

i just wish the bmw e60 and e65 hadn't made it into production, oh well! :odd:

Let's see...off the top of my head:
Mazda MX-Sport tourer
Mazda Activihicle
RX-01
MX-03
Next tourer
HR-X1
HR-X2

There's dozens of Mazda concepts...though pretty much every company has concepts that went no where, I just know Mazda though.

Lamborghini Cala from the mid ninties v cool smaller than a Diablo with a V10 engine cant for the life of me figure why they never put it into production would have taken a lot of F355/360 sales from Ferrari. Oh well at least we have the gorgeous Gallardo now:)

I thought they just renamed it "Avalanche".

The Ford Fourty-Nine never made it to production, which is a shame... that car woulda been a lot better than the crappy Thunderbird revival.

Meaning it was a fast piece of crap?..OH BERETTA!!..Oh ok..I thought you were talking about this other car called a beretta...man those things were Ooglah

What is Josh's obsession with Berettas?

I've got a vehicle that was never a concept car, but was a production car: Plymouth Breeze. Sometimes I wish it never made it into production.

If you're calling that a fast piece of crap you're an idiot.

How about I say that all Skyline's are slower pieces of crap? I'm cool now!

It's no obsession, I just really like them. Several of my friend's have owned them, and they're damn good cars.

Tell me an AWD TT V6 Beretta with 385hp wouldn't be a fun car to drive.

Do any of you realize Concept cars (like the Razor, T-Rex, Sixteen, Cien..) never make it to production? Which is precisely why they're Concept cars?

Do any of you know what the word concept means?

A Concept car is made to shoe the public what the car company in question has in mind for it's future and it what direction they're headed.

Then explain why there are Pontiac Azteks on the road, when it was originally meant to be just a concept car. Some of these concepts probably were slated to make it to production, but ended up getting the ax for whatever reason.

That's odd, cause pretty much every car has had a concept and production concept.

Take the RX-8. The RX-Evolv was the 1st concept. Then there was the red RX-8 with the big wheels, that was the 2nd concept. Then there was the yellow one with the chrome wheels, that's the Production Concept, and now ofcourse is the production model.

And how could I forget Amati, which was going to be a Mazda company but never got past drawings and stuff.

the lamborghini miura targa (convert)... it was such impressively well styled... its a damn shame it didnt make it. also, a shame for the Cala, wich someone mentioned before.

Cano

also, some pontiac GTO wagon thing that didnt make it. sad.
