So...this was a fun time to figure out how to set up my headset. :lol:
 
There’s a technical issue that may prevent people joining off of my Gamertag.

That was some great racing! I didn't get any podium spots, but I still had some great battles along the way and very nearly got 3rd when we were on the Bernese Alps. I hope I wasn't too much of a moving hazard, and I'm really looking forward to the next session either way. I'll try and get my headset set up for next session as well.

When will we know what the next division is, and do you think it would be worth advertising this outside of GTPlanet? For instance you could probably put the thread on /r/Forza and we'd get a few extra signups - more people might be a little more messy and complicated to set up but it should also make for better racing because there'll be more people within each different skill level.
 
I agree, that was fun :)

Many thanks to everybody for stopping by, we did just under 2 hours of racing and it was pretty close and clean.

I’ll come up with 3 Divisions of varying classes for us to vote on over the coming days.

For now let’s stick to GTP. I may share this on Reddit at the end of the week once we have settled on a Division. If I share it anywhere else the best way to manage it is via Xbox’s Looking for Group feature and Party Chat.
 
Yeah i would say for a first time, it went pretty painless :sly:

We had some good finishes up front, one or two could have called for a finishing photo 👍

And i did get 11 downloads and 12 uses of my tunes earning me a total of 4000cr. couldnt be happyier, now off to buy a new set of rims :gtpflag:

Just realized we were using party chat where I believe my headset works fine, rather than game chat where my headset refuses to work for some reason... :banghead: I'd appreciate if someone would join a party chat with me sometime in the coming week so I can definitely make sure it works before next week.

I had a blast last night racing with everyone. I really rather liked the setup: the races were all a decent length, the tracks & weather were varied, and best of all, game issues were kept to a minimum regardless of our physical distance from each other.

Here's hoping that Forza implements the ability for rolling starts and a countdown timer in the future. Thanks again for hosting, @PJTierney.

Looking forward to next week.
 
Voted for P2 since P class (and X) allways been my weakness, hopefully il learn some new things this week. Gonna tune some Rally cars and Formula E too just in case :cool:
 
I'd love to join in on this sometime but will have to wait for at least another 2 weeks until I get XBL Gold renewed.
 
I‘ll close up the poll tomorrow so if anyone hasn’t voted try and get to it soon :)

For future events the poll options will try to stick to a similar trend of varying PI levels.
 
Just realised I probably can't make tomorrow unless it goes on for a long time. The annual Christmas meal for one of the uni societies I'm in is on at Monday evening so chances are I won't be able to make it unless I leave early.
 
No worries, so long as we get a bunch of people together we’ll race anyway :)

Im gonna skip tonight, im going all in on the Hypercar division, witch starts tomorrow. Still so many cars to buy and test/tune. :scared:

It's funny, 3 weeks ago i was starting to think, what to do on forza? now this and some stuff on facebook, plus the league's are coming, it feels like i need 48 hours a day just to keep up :boggled:

I don’t know how many upcoming ones I’d be available for either (Leagues and GT Sport taking up a lot of my time) but I’ll certainly be hosting tonight.

If anyone wants to try hosting next week let me know and I’ll help out where I can.
