Is there some sort of handicap imposed in this type of race ?

I had 3 online races against the same guy this evening on Glendale East.

I won each time, but I used a different car and in different class each time, and he stuck with the same one.

There was still only a second or two between our times at the finish though.

Knowing that it exists in HP3, I'd say there's a chance that might exist, but your scenario you provided us really only tells us that he's probably just as good as you are.

Nooo don't think so, because on two occasions he lost the car on one particular bend, whereas my laps were clean.

I looked at the info (on-screen) about catchup duel, and yes it seems there is a a handicap system between cars of different classes.👍
