Cats

I taught my cat how to roll over, and now she rolls over whenever she wants food (or whenever she feels like it). She'll walk into the kitchen, lay down, and then roll halfway over. It's so funny to see her lying upside down while looking at you, her eyes very obviously saying,"Look at me, I'm so cute, you need to give me food."

Me and my partner want two Bengal cats when we get our own place. They are awesome.

Gizmo, he is just too awesome. Almost 3 years old.

And Teigetje, the nicest cat in the world. Almost 11.

I had a cat that lived to be 20. She was a tough old broad. She kicked a full grown dalmatians butt one time.

I think some cats are incredibly resilient. My mum had a cat called debbie once. Purest white fur, it was a stray that she found in a bad way, paws up, in the dustbin, it was deaf, and all its teeth had fallen out. This was before I was born, Debbie was alive well into my 20's, so I'd guess she was at least 25 when she died.

She was proper grouchy though, if she'd have had teeth, I'd probably not have any fingers by now.

I currently have 3 cats. The oldest one Is call Bo Tie, because his pattern makes it look like he is wearing a suit, and is about 12-13 years old. The second one is named Boots, which the only reason his name is Boots is because we got him after Shrek 2 came out and he looks exactly like Puss in Boots, is about 7-8 years I think. Then my newest is call Amber, we got her from a shelter, and she is aout 3-4 years old. All of them are spayed and neutered.

Bo Tie was the runt of his litter and had to be put on steroids so that he could live. Wer got him when he was just a few months old. He is very big and very heavy. He is the biggest jerk of the 3, pushing the other cats away from thier food. He also will only be petted on his back and head and will climb all over us when we are on the couch or laying down.

Boots was found by my dad in the parking lot of his work in the snow. We brought him to the vet to make sure he was okay and didn't have hypothermia. He ended up okay obviously but I think the cold we found him in had done something to him brain as no matter what, when we get up, he wraps him self around our legs.

Amber is very shy. If anyone were to come to my house, they would be very lucky to see her. We got her at a shelter when she was a few months old. The people at the shelter told us that she was treated very poorly and figure thats why she is shy. A good thing about her is that if she lays with you, she will let you pet here where ever you want.

I also used to have a cat called Hope. My parents got her before I was born. She was very sweet. She had bowel problems for the year before she died and died in December of 2007. The reason we had gotten Amber was to replace Hope.

I also now what breed of cat I want to get after Bo dies. I'm planning on a short haired Japanese Bobtail. If I do get one, I'll name it either Azusa or Azu-nyan. Some of the people here should get the reference of the name.

Any, as you can tell, I really love cats, but my limit is gonna be 3 at any time.

This is my cat, Kashmir. We adpoted her when she was 7, she's now 15 and is the best cat in the world. She's not a "lap cat" so to speak but she's beautiful and I love her to pieces. I really do sound like a soppy-git.

Don't have any pics I'm afraid but I've had 3 cats, 2 when I was younger, both were ran over in the same month :'( RIP Sherry and Amber.. Grew up wth them, and my Grandma's rabbit and tortoise

These days, when I go home from uni anyway, there's Oscar. We've had him for a couple of years now. He's rather dumb though, he'll eat grass, insects, spiders anything. He once got stung inside his mouth by a bee he'd tried to eat...
The funniest thing he's done was chase a jumping spiderling (baby spider) up and down my windowsill for over an hour.. was comedy gold but my camera was dead so I couldn't record it :( He also went through a phase of trying to eat some of my fossils, predominantly the Belemnites and Bivalves!
Also, as he sometimes comes into the house through my bedroom window, (set of 3 windows, middle one doesn't open, outer 2 do), a couple of times he's managed to run full pelt into the one that doesn't open! :P He's starting to learn his lesson though!

I have 3 cats, and each of them is pretty unique. First theres the obese calico: Cally (We didn't pick the names). Not morbidly obese, but funny obese. Then theres Mocha, a himalayan, who I don't see often because she sleeps, a lot more than I think she should. Then theres the outside cat. Shes white, and her name is Kitty(...). I'm not really sure what kind she is, but shes pretty cool nonetheless

My family has had three. The first two, Misha and Hobbes (hence my PSN ID) were born two years before me and lived until the old ages of 13.5 and 17 respectively. Now our fiends moved away and left us with their cat Garfield. He looks exactly like Hobbes, which is kind of weird sometimes. Anyways, a funny story would be when Garfield was sitting on my lap, I went onto YouTube and put on a cat video. He spent the next hour running around, calling the cat that must have been trapped in the computer or something. I felt kind of bad after though. It would be like hiding some speakers that were playing some guy screaming for help. Oh well, it was funny at the time.
EDIT: Hobbes and Garfield look(ed) a lot like the two santa cats on the last page.
