i thought it auto saved as soon as you purchased the car regardless of if you got into it or not.

If you turn off the auto-save then you can buy a car and it won't save unless you choose to use it.

So as per GT Pro's first post, turn off auto-save, buy the car, say no when asked if you want to use it now, exit GT mode and enter Arcade mode, drive it there, save the replay, reset the PS2, go to the replay theatre and load the replay. Easy!

So that's why It doesn't save in that instance on my file; I forgot you could turn off the auto-save feature. Nonetheless, some great entries so far. I still haven't submitted an entry but I'm just too lazy these days.
