Cellphone unlocking

Anyone recommend a reliable site for unlocking sim? I don't have a specific model to unlock but just inquiring generally. Also, what's a general price range I should be looking at? I'm in Canada if that matters but seeking online methods only right now.

it can depend on the network, like here in England I was locked to vodaphone (my phone was exclusive to them) and on the company website I was able to get it unlocked in less than 24 hours, and it was the cheapest, it was £20 and most places in town where around £25, so I was look on the networks website first
