While not really Buridan's Ass, Morton's Fork, or the Hobson's Choice of color that Henry Ford offered with his Model T, we're faced with choices every day.
May as well practise: here is a game to keep you prepared.
Now - this is how it SHOULDN'T go:
User 1: Hot dog's OR Hamburgers?
User 2: Hot dogs.
Pen OR Pencil?
User 3: Pen.
VAG OR BMW?
User 2: BMW, of course!
Bimmer OR Merc?
User 4: It's Mercedes-Benz, moron! BMW is the poor man's Merc!
Booze OR drugs?
User 2: WTF? You don't know crap, bozo! BMW rocks!
User 4: BS!! STFU! You crippled---
Mod. : OK, boys, you can go home now.
This is how it's more fun:
User 1: Hot Dogs OR Hamburgers?
User 2: 'burgers, FTW.
Pen OR Pencil?
User 1: Pencil.
Beach Volleyball OR Netball?
User Z: Pen!
: Cookies OR Biscuits?
User 3: Netball.
: Chocolate OR Vanilla?
User Z: Tree'd.
Vanilla!
Cookies or Biscuits?
Mod. : Morton's Fork? I'll take Biscuits and toss the cookies.
Ford Or Chevy?
. . . and so on and so forth. Got it?
What then happens is that it becomes more than just mental calisthenics, and other 'deep thoughts' about the choices we make - it can actually become a fun exercise. Just practise restraint in the choice of Choices you offer, remember if you're tree'd to wait your turn, and do check that your Mom is not looking over your shoulder!
I'll start:
Chocolate OR Sex?
