This is just a little post to officially congratulate Chris Judd for winning the 2004 Brownlow Medal.
For all you non Aussie Rules followers, the Brownlow Medal is awarded to the fairest and best player judged by the field umpires for the home and away season. Every game, the three officiating umpires vote 3 2 1 for the best players in the match. West Coast Eagle Judd won with 30 votes(only the 5th player in history to score 30 or more votes), 7 votes ahead of his nearest rival, and last years co-winner, Adelaide's captain Mark Ricciuto.
Chris Judd is only 21 years old, in his third season of AFL football. He capped of a brilliant year, captaining the Eagles for six weeks in the absence of skipper Ben Cousins, and making his first All Australian Team.
Congratulations Chris, you make all of us West Coast Fans so damn proud. On Ya mate.
