Chrysler "Outraged" that they are peddling garbage. Also, Dodge fails at life.

Sebring/Nitro: Hopefully, Chrysler pulls away from Galant platform...For good. If nothing else, put the damn 3.8 MIVEC in it. Give it some power. Add Ralliart suspension.

I've been saying the Nitro should just go away....

MAGNUM UPDATE: Yes, much better. It looks like a car now, instead of a flattened SUV

Still waiting for the 300 Touring to come over.

I never once saw the Magnum as a flattened SUV, and even the V6 front fascias aren't that bad. Granted the SRT-8 is definately the one to buy, but the regular HEMI model is still pretty decent.

I never liked the huge "tough guy" grille, though. I felt it looked ugly and overdone, I like the more subdued face this presents.

The Magnum is fantastic as a musclewagon, but it looks a bit improved, now.

I think the Magnum's looks are alright, but that "corporate" grille is still too "In your Face". As a wagon lover, I wouldn't ever consider a Magnum though because it's sloping roofline wastes valueable space. Compare it's cargo space to a 1980s Mid-Size American wagon. What the hell were they thinking? I want a wagon to put stuff and dogs in.

I wonder what it's like to drive. The Magnum is a large vehicle - the SRT is surely quick, but I wonder if there's a lot of roll in curves.

My father lets me drive his SRT8, and yes, it is very big. Compared to my Camaro and other high performance cars i've driven, it handles very well. Not too much body roll either. That car's tires are so wide that it just glues to the pavement. The huge Brembo brakes are incredible, but sure emit a lot of dust. The 6.1 liter HEMI has gobs of low end torque and just gets better through the mid range. The only problem i have with the car is the gas pedal is too squishy for my taste. Its like there isnt any mechanical feel between the pedal and the throttle body. It could be drive by wire though.

BTW.....It does awesome burnouts........:sly:

F-bodies actually handle quite well given the archaic suspension. My 3rd gen with the wide Formula wheels grips like you wouldn't believe. My only problem is my tires are expensive and I've had to resort to buying used. 225/50/16 isn't a common size around here. I've actually taken a corner too fast to try and kick the tail end out and it still was gripping. Next time I'm going to jam the throttle just before the apex to see what happends. I really need a video camera. ;) This corner I speak of is the same corner I used to lift-off oversteer my Focus' (Focii?). I bet McLaren might know which corner it is if he's been to Lewisville. *cough* I try and take this corner in any car I want to test drive, it is a great representation of handling traits I think.

*edit*
Woo, I seem to be going off topic alot today.
