Tonight we will have a battle of boys and girls at Circuit de la Sarthe 2 starring the current top 3 in the F1 World Championship. They are Michael Schumacher(3), Kimi Raikkonen(2), and Fernando Alonso(1). The situation: the boys lost the first round because the 3 male drivers of round 1 seem to be JGTC fans having no interest in Le Mans Prototypes. Of course the male drivers didn't care after that horrible 4th to 6th finish at Sarthe 2. Now it is different, in this round all participants have interests in the LMPs.

Results From Round 1

1.Polyphony Digital Formula Gran Turismo 2004
2.Nissan R92CP Race Car 1992 (3 Laps
3.Nissan R89C Race Car 1989(4 Laps
4.Audi R8 Race Car 2001(6 Laps)
5.PlayStation Pescarolo C60/Judd Race Car 2004
6.Chevrolet Corvette C5R (C5) Race Car 2000

Scores after Round 1/3

Girls-20 points +5 (pt bonus for having all team drivers in top 3)=25 points

Boys-6 points

Post-Race Details: After the race the ladies wouldn't show up at the press conference because of safety problems to settle.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Starting Grid For Round 2

1.Sauber Mercedes C9 Race Car 1989
2.Nissan R89C Race Car 1989
3.Jaguar XJ-R9 Race Car 1988
4.MINOLTA Toyota 88C-V Race Car 1989
5.Mazda 787B Race Car 1991
6.MINOLTA Toyota 88C-V Race Car 1989

So who will win round 2. Now if the F1 drivers pull off a top 3 they will score 20 and the 5 pt bonus for the top 3 that leads to the to genders tied at 31 points.
After Round 1 The Boys complained about not using the JGTC cars. Since Circuit de la Sarthe is built for LMPs the commitee couldn't use the JGTCs 🤬 🤬 . So can the contenders of the F1 Championship tie this thing up or will they lose their dignity? :nervous: :nervous:

Results of round 2/3

1.MINOLTA Toyota 88C-V Race Car 1989
2.MINOLTA Toyota 88C-V Race Car 1989
3.Sauber Mercedes C 9 Race Car 1989
4.Mazda 787B Race Car 1991
5.Nissan R89C Race Car 1989
6.Jaguar XJ-R9 Race Car 1988

Race Details:It was a dramatic 1st lap at the start of the race. The MINOLTA starting last decided to push it to the limit and take the lead before the end of the 6K straightaway. It was pretty much like what happened at round 1. 1 Car laps all cars again and again for 24 straight hours. I do have bad news. I will NOT give results of the last round at Twin Ring Motegi. I dont know if it is on the oval track or road course. If someone would PM me the URL where i can buy a USB Storage Device and that CD where it lets you transfer the data, that would be great. Right at the moment the MINOLTA was lapping the Nissan for a second time, it bumped the MINOLTA sending it off track at the end of the looooonnng straight. So a few hours after that it looked like it was already over because it was. The key that helped win the race was pit strategy. The 1223 HP MINOLTA (mine) used a 7 lap strategy to the others 8 lap, but it wasn't enough to take the lead away. Even if the Toyota had a earlier pit stop, it had a gap big enough to stay ahead. Since the last race is for tuner cars, Round 3 will take place on Twin Ring Motegi-Road course. To tell everyone I WILL NOT post coverage of the last round sorry for the inconvenience. I will post the replay on a different forum.

What? I think a quite a lot more missing info there or am I just not getting it?

The reason is that I haven't finished the race.Because of someone who turned my game off i only got through 10 hours. It was 10:00 that time. I told you i will post the race results when the race is finished. :dunce: :dunce:

But you've got results for 1 race with girls against boys. What cars are the girls driving? But more to the point, what is your aim here?

OK Here are the cars the F1 drivers are racing: MINOLTA Toyota 88C-V Race Car 1989, MINOLTA Toyota 88C-V Race Car 1989 (there are 2 MINOLTAs), and the Sauber Mercedes C9 Race Car 1989,The girls:Nissan R89C Race Car 1989, Mazda 787B Race Car 1991, and the Jaguar XJ-R9 Race Car 1988.The last race will be at Twin Ring Motegi Road Course (Motegi 8 Hour Endurance) or Super Speedway (Super Speedway 150 Miles). All Cars are in the Le Mans Prototype Class. I should finish the race by tonight and post it next weekend.

Still missing some info:
1. Why boys vs girls?
2. How did you choose who was who?
3. Boys have names but girls don't?
4. Seems like you are not doing one of the standard series. What are the races you will run?

Answer those questions and we may begin to understand what you are doing.

I was just going to lock it, but I'm intrigued....

Your car? You're not in the race, or are you one of the girls?

Well, that's nice isn't it. You make us read this, this, whatever it is and then you're not going to tell us the final results?

There is alot of intention behind the words but they lead nowhere! It would be kind of a fun challenge to write something like this as an exercise or experiment - I wonder if that is what he is doing?

I'm still curious :-)

FGTChampion - WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?

You have posted a context for a race series, but no information about the series. Who is taking part? Who are the boys? Who are the girls? What is the aim? Where is race one, if this is race two? Why post this here if you aren't going to post race one here?

Throw us a frikkin' bone here.

I think he's tried a difference stance to the normal "this is the 6 car race from my point of view" and has written it in the 3rd person as a race in a fantasy series.

However, it does throw you in the deep end. There's not enough detail, it's badly thought through (why choose F1 drivers for girls v boys? there are no female F1 drivers are there?) and there's a mix between fantsy 3rd person and real 1st person that doesn't gel.

It's a nice idea, but you'd have to create the race series in a lot more detail before trying to write a race up into it. Ditch the attention-grabbing (but useless) Girls v Boys part, some more detail and don't mix the styles and it could be a good read. So long as the current standings are explained properly I don't think you'd have to start at race 1, but it would help.

HELP

What is going on here? I wish I had not read the damn post, now I need an explanation.

Confused

Scaff

Edited to add: six people have voted on a poll that no-one seems to understand, now thats democracy for you.

OK guys. Lets keep it on topic....

whatever that is!

My head hurts now. :banghead:

Edit: Just when I was starting to make a little sense out of it I read the boys were mad because they couldn't use JGTC cars because the track is made for LMPS...

:dunce:

Daan, you better lock this up. I don't think the author is going to post here again and we are all just banging our heads against the wall.

Please make it stop! :-)

Oh boy, this stuff's scaring me. I think the intent was to get us very, very confused. Why girls and boys....? :banghead:
This thread sais, "Lock me!" :yuck:

I just voted for "it's a 60-40 chance" :boggled:

looks like nine people have voted now!

Mmmmyes... My vote was "No way they can win". I figured this since the boys and the girls are private intellectual property of the topic founder, and thus they are free to do whatever they choose, or whatever the topic founder chooses to have them do, which is likely to give up their racing careers and reproduce infinitely, because this certainly seems like something that imaginary boys and girls would prefer given a free choise. ;)

See now, i reckon it would definitely be a 30-70 chance of somehting happening. guess i won't vote. i somehow doubt i will lose any sleep over it tho

Sarah's driving a nice little Honda, Jane's driving a blue one with silver wheels, and Jo's driving a Beetle called Bertie.

Does that help?
