Circuit Experience at Tokyo Central CCW

Hello,
I am a "mid-speed" driver so far and currently I am trying to do all the Circuit Experience tracks on Gold. Somehow it works BUT…

I started Tokyo Expressway CCW and it looks insane to me. Time limits seem to be much harder than on another tracks. If I turn on instructor's Ghost, it seems like I have to be very close to him to succeed. Which is not the case on another tracks I made gold so far (cca 50% of tracks in GT7). I'd say Silver here corresponds to Gold on other tracks. Am I missing something or this one is really that hard?

Some are just harder than others. Tokyo ones in particular as you have to get super close to the walls without touching them or insta-fail. I saved these for last because the tracks are annoying. But, definitely doable for sure.

You're not missing anything. Two of the Tokyo ones are really, really hard.

Play around with brake bias, steering sensitivity and weak/default abs see what feels best and then just get better over time.

What helped me there was using chasing cam instead of my usual roof cam. It helped me being aware of how close I was/could get to the walls and make time.

Other than that, lots of practice.

Yep, Tokyo and Nordschleife are the hardest.

This was by far the hardest, and I have a suspicion it was due to an update, that’s the only thing that really makes sense to me.

I wasn’t on wheel at the time and did this on controller, my passing lap is one of many videos of this on YouTube but it may be of use:



Very annoying but you do have to get close to the walls, and really carry as much speed through corners as possible, with careful throttle and a little trail braking.

I’m not bad but I’m really not great, it took a while, many more attempts than things like the ‘Ring.

Yesterday I made it to Silver. My current time is one second behind Gold and I feel where there is a space for improvements. I believe I succeed in the end but this challenge is definitely much tougher than other ones. And I love it.❤️
