Citroën C-Métisse Concept 2006

Built by Citroën in 2006 to prove that hybrid cars can be both fast and desirable, the C-Métisse is equipped with a dual power system. The front wheels are powered by a 208 bhp 2.7 litre V6, and the rear wheels powered by two independent 20 bhp in-wheel motors. This results in the striking looking 4 door super hybrid being capable of sprinting from 0-60 mph in 6.5 seconds and carrying on to a top speed of 155 mph, while maintaining up to 43 mpg of fuel economy.
