Since the decline of people that I normally raced with on GT6, I haven't been very active in the community for a little more than a year now. The few times that I have jumped on GT6 I've came across some rooms that were using BoP for classes like GT2, GT3 and GT500 that were not up to par for the serious type of racing that were going for, so I thought I would post these again in an attempt to get some people to try out these class regulations since this is the final version and I probably won't be seriously playing Gran Turismo until GT: Sport. These BoP were tested by myself and my friend Setted who have raced with some of the fastest on the game like the members of TNR and TRL, so they should be close enough in performance to satisfy most people. If you enjoy these I would appreciate it if you shared them with someone you know who seeks to run multi-class or just single class races at a close performance without going through the trouble of testing BoP themselves.

These class regulations were made to be competitive, not to reflect the real life regulations of each class. Each car in its category is capable of doing the same lap times. Certain cars call for a drastically different setup than most to be fast, weight positioning and downforce play a big part in getting cars such as the Corvette C5-R (C5) '00 and GT-R NISMO GT3 '13 to compete with the cars in their class. The PP is there to let the host see if the any illegal upgrades have been added, such as an upgraded engine or turbo that is not used on that specific car.


Some classes were combined to have as many close performance cars as possible without having to create a separate smaller class of one or two cars such as GTS or LMGTP. The names chosen for the classes are my own preference for categorizing the different types of cars in a simple way. The Esperante GTR-1 '98 and Storm V12 Race Car '99 were left out of their classes because of a problem with inaccurate weight on the game, making them next to impossible to properly regulate without severely dragging down the performance of the others cars in the class. Same goes for a handful of other cars with performance problems.


-Extra weight is prohibited.


-No 15th Anniversary Cars are allowed.

If you're doing more of these, I'd like to see some rally or GT300 stuff. This could be useful for my Duel of the Week bonus stages.
I wish I could man but I don't have as much free time that I used to, I'm not for sure but they're might be some GT300 or Rally regulations somewhere on GTP. As far as racing BoP this post and my old GTP account are the only ones that I can easily find in the search bar.

Read the top of the post. The GT-One turns too well compared to the other GT1's to properly regulate unless you do a specific BoP for almost each track.

Not quite, the '99 spec GT-One is actually a Le Mans Prototype (Specifically LMGTP, granted it's an evolution of GT1 but still...), it's the '98 model that was actually a GT1 machine by regulation.

Otherwise, this is a very neat idea @GTP Sworned, be a great way of ensuring parity in a custom race series , plus it's just generally a neat idea to create close racing using the class structure, neat work 👍.

I wish the '98 GT-One was still in Gran Turismo, the livery on it was so nice. Thank you man, it means a lot. We put a lot of testing into them. I made these almost 2 years ago, I'm just hoping people get use out of them or at least appreciate the effort, cheers!

Same here, your certainly not the only one. The '98 GT-One is my favorite too, what with the slight visual differences and that gorgeous Zent livery :drool:.

I can definitely see that a lot of effort has gone into it not doubt about that, will be interested to check it out myself, especially GT2 and LMP900 for me.

Yea man, just a gorgeous car. When I play Forza 6 I slap that livery right on my TS0 lol. Hope you enjoy man! GT1 and GT2 are my favorite categorys to race out of these, really competitive. If you ever need any setups for most of these cars just message me on PSN: Sworned.
