This is a recreation of the SLR Trophy, an ill-fated attempt to turn the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren supercar into a racing series featuring identical SLR 722 GTs. Big power in a heavyweight, front-engine layout supercar attempts to turn the ultimate GT into a full race car. Three short sprint races will be held in one night with points to determine the overall victor.
Schedule
The race is currently scheduled for Saturday, November 16th.
The lobby opens for free practice at 16:30 EST. Qualifying will begin at 17:00 EST and will last for exactly 5 minutes. Race 1 will begin shortly after qualifying, lasting for approximately 20 minutes. There will be a short break, then Race 2 will be set by reverse grid, and last approximately 20 minutes. Qualifying for Race 3 will begin after a short break and will last for 5 minutes. Race 3 then lasts approximately 20 minutes.

This will be as close a replication of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 GT from what we have available in the game. This will be a much more brutal car to similar Gr. 3 cars and lack much of the aero advantages.

Livery Rules
The number plate is available HERE or search for hashtag #slr. They must be placed on both sides of the car and the hood, but the specific location is at your discretion. Liveries must not violate GTPlanet or Sony Terms of Service. Tire decals should be Michelin.
Championship Details
There will be a simple Drivers' Championship awarded after all three races. Points will be determined on race results, with bonus points for qualifying and for the fastest lap in each race.
