Every damned patch day there's a topic.... sorry, but think first then write... and what's even better.. read and inform before thinking... Patch Day = Server Down for X minutes/hours... Server Down = DON'T PLAY what matters...

Because a server being down has zero impact on single-player functionality for a vast, if not all, games. THAT is exactly why it's an issue every time. If you're cool with being sheep, that's fine, but don't criticize me for saying 'baaaa'.

i mean the game you bought was a game that had a single player mode that was tied to online functionality, they never said otherwise. on top of that, they even notify people when said online functionality will go down when an update drops or maintenance is needed, with a timetable stating when it should be back to normal. it's the kind of thing that is totally understandable to hate, but why subject yourself to it if you know you'll be upset every time?

I made a purchase in good faith that the game would be developed under the same principles of accessibility as literally every other game with a SP component allows for access to the said SP component regardless of online functionality.

again, the fact that this game would be tied in large part to online connectivity was known prior to release, and if that was something i couldn't stand i wouldn't have ever bought it. they didn't slip it in on anyone.

Also, I love how in principle everyone seems to agree. The annoyance stems from the repetitive content in the thread. I have 2 things to say to that. If it’s repetitive, there’s probably a good reason for it. This could have simply been addressed with a simple, ‘this topic has been covered multiple times before’ and left the personal attacks out of it.
