I like your entry, but you need to re-size it to meet the requirements. Also link us to a high res version, that would do you good.

Is that you with Yamauchi? Very nice.

Yup, also have it on my profile page if you want to see it in a larger version...

Tilt shift can be done very well...........here

Sadly it's rarely done well in gt5 :(

That´s the way it should be done. However, using the miniature filter will for sure not be the way to win here.

Sad that a small fraction of the submissions thus far look realistic...

Yep...

makes it easier for me...:P
Would my r8 one be considered being realistic, if not I will change it.

It looks good, but you've done the same mistake as always matt. A to big preview and no link to its full-size.
Sorry, but like this it will never qualifier for any poll!

Any better?

Nothing ground-breaking. I just wanted to enter, because I miss this place too much! :P

How do I get this clickable to full size with Imageshack?

Erk...some of you guys are gonna have to give me some editing/coloring tips when this comp is done. :dunce:

FINAL ENTRY

EDIT: Entry changed. This is about the best I can do for realism I think.

This is just like the realistic photo thread. Hundreds of people post stuff and almost every one of them gets scrutinized by everyone else for not being "real" to their standards. I'm glad I'm not the judge for this one lol. If mine sucked, sorry.

Any quick and easy way to get rid of the watermark? It bothers me as well but I don't know how to get rid of it. :scared:

I could say that I have with mixed results always 'smudged' away the watermark in GIMP. Low opacity smudge tool has always worked for me. I almost never crop it out.

Clone stamp tool for me in Photoshop, I find it pretty easy, but if there's a complicated background behind the watermark, it can be difficult!

haha, sems beat me to it!

Have to agree with Brad and Sems, the clone tool is the best way to remove the watermark, combined with a low density/opacity smudge brush on tricky backgrounds you can get very good results.
