Thanks. Unfortunately I don't s*** these pics out on a daily basis so it might take a while, hehe. Too bad the inferior graphics engine spoiled my chances. Better luck next time it is then.

I voted for Mog's California, for making it a nice car to look at, really nice tone and angle. The detail is incredible (especially of the reflections, ironically) and the rear light. The clouds and vignette really add to the picture and make it warmer, while not being too obvious. I liked 440's entry also, he made a cool tone work very well, and the 458 is nice as well.

Ok, I'll give you a critique, though remember; I'm no professional..
For me, the shot looks kind of like you took a picture of your tv screen to capture it. The composition is fair, to achieve what you were trying to capture, but the vignetting is far too heavy against the higher exposure which bleaches a lot of the colour and texture detail out.
The concept is fair enough, but if you look at the variation of shots and ideas throughout the rest of the thread you can see that there is something lacking; it is essentially just a very dark shot of a wheel, and the only thing tying it to the location is the paving blocks. Remember, this is a competition with a theme, and whilst cool arty shots can do well, you must still try and incorporate the theme as much as possible.
Finally; there doesn't seem to be a link for a larger version of the picture which can affect your chances and is always worth including. Remember though to make sure that your picture will stand up to scrutiny once people zoom in!

Hope you don't feel like I'm being too harsh, just trying to give you my honest opinion.

Ah thanks, this can help me. No, I don't feel like you are being harsh. I'm producing my own music for years and over the way I had so much feedback and critics, I'm used to it already, but it helped me improve myself over and over again, so your entire post is all usefull for me, as I am relatively new to photographing and photo editting.

I entered with something else first, but it was a race car and by the time I made the replacement, I wanted to come up with something original, so thats why I went for that one. And I made the tiles stand out on purpose, so it still fits the theme, but I surely can understand that it doesnt match the theme well enough for other people. And the rest of your feedback seems fair, I understand and will definately take that in mind for this weeks competition. Thanks 👍

I agree with most of what Boozy said, the main thing is that it's too dark and too heavily vignetted, you lose half of the wheel, which is the subject. Also with how dark it is, the wheel looks more plastic than metal, kind of like a hubcap. Pretty much, the overall darkness of the image took away any eye catching elemental of the image.

I would be sad if that happened! Your image was one of the ones that I said to myself that I wanted on the poll, it has a very good eurotuner look and feel to it, with the CF lip and the chrome rims and blue cooling filter. If you analyze the image enough, you can almost hear someone else playing some bass in their car in a tuner meet.

Really? Actually I prefer the stone pattern you chose for your TTS. Very different approach than others, which I found they are too busy on the screen. Mog's California or Ben's 458 would be easily my 2nd choice.

Well, he can't now, at any rate. 19 images in the poll.

For what it's worth, there are only 2 people left to vote who are in the poll: StephanCTR, and Mr. Rager. Everybody else has voted cleanly, which really should not be hard.

If you have a problem with how the competition is run - don't enter. It's really quite simple. The rules are up every week, and everybody knows what they're getting into. To expect a judge's personal tastes to always align with your own is incredibly naive. I know it's a bit ironic that I have to be so serious stating this; but it's for fun. Sometimes we don't get in the poll - oh well, there's always next week .
