thats pretty easy. Because you don't see how many votes the others have (before you vote).
At least thats how it is on my Computer!

But if I could see it I would still take the picture I like the most. Except of mine of course...
If someone is tie with my pic and I could win it, I would still vote for him if I like it. If there is a picture I like more than mine or any other, he deserves it. Just that simple.

and I really don't care how often moglet, sixtoes, GPR or any other will win in a row. That just tells me that I have to get better...and better......and......

I vote the best and unique shoot. Doesn't matter of it's my comp. or the worst on people's view.

In this case, i voted for the only scenery shoot.

I voted for Moglet's and not necessarily because its the best shot but the fact it demonstrates the criteria set out at the start better than the rest IMHO... mine included sadly. Some pics are like WOW but don't quite show a real demonstration of the limited settings given to us.

I'm not saying he does, because there is no way that I could possibly know, but if you look at the past polls, there are certain individuals he gets votes from every week, regardless. Now that's not to say they aren't sincere and true-felt votes, because most of Moglet's entries are worthy, but I'm just sayin'. Nothing against Moglet at all, he is a great competitor and he is great for this competition, but man, it's almost like we don't have chance sometimes. I am not complaining though, I thoroughly entering in this thing every week!

I'm not a fanboy or something like this, its just the fact that there are some guys who're always pulling some great Entries. I can list more, but that wouldn't change anything.


But I can feel your point there. It can be frustrating to compete week for week and mostly don't stand a chance against some guys here.
It sure was also frustrating for some guys to race against Schumacher over a nd over and mostly lost it!

Just keep up tryin and compete. In germany we say: Dabei sein ist alles!

While I'm honored to be named in such company, I'm not sure how one win constitutes anything "in a row". Not to say I wouldn't mind, but you know... one, uno, 1.

As for the folks who are concerned that Mog is getting votes because he's Mog: there are only a couple of images this week that I wouldn't mind losing to, and his is one of them. Maybe he has "fans" - but maybe he has fans because he's good at what he does. Take inspiration from him - and from any of the winners - and keep upping your game. In the meantime, I'm grateful to still be in the running this week.

I really hope nobody is voting for any of the photos because of who took them. If people are doing it on mine then I ask them to stop it as it's unfair and biased.

This said, I may be pulling out of the contests completely for a while. I'd like to concentrate more on updating my gallery, something I don't currently have time for if I enter contests. I'd also like to trial something I've been thinking about doing for a while now; a photomode 'Videocast' of sorts, where I review photos and pick my favourites from the week gone by. If anyone thinks it's a good or bad idea or wants to help out, just let me know. 👍
