I will enter more scenery shots in the future, since not many people do them. However at the end of the day, it all comes down to the theme.

So if a car image, suits a future theme. Then I will use a car image, instead of a scenery shot.

I really hope nobody is voting for any of the photos because of who took them. If people are doing it on mine then I ask them to stop it as it's unfair and biased.

This said, I may be pulling out of the contests completely for a while. I'd like to concentrate more on updating my gallery, something I don't currently have time for if I enter contests. I'd also like to trial something I've been thinking about doing for a while now; a photomode 'Videocast' of sorts, where I review photos and pick my favourites from the week gone by. If anyone thinks it's a good or bad idea or wants to help out, just let me know. 👍

I've put some thought as well into pulling out of the contests for a bit - I've stayed in for now, but certainly understand that thought process. My gallery has lain stagnant now for far too long, and I can't focus (no pun intended) on new projects for it if I'm doing PMC, 2.0, CCCL every week. Still, I hope you'll at least join every now and then if you do stop for a bit - I think a lot of folks around here learn from your work and are inspired to up their game as a result.

By the way, I absolutely love the idea you mention of a Photomode 'videocast' and would be willing to help when time allows. 👍

Well switching to the karts was a stupid idea. Should of stayed with the GT... I guess thats what i get for trying to do something original.
Edit: I hate Paint.net. Mine is always the most blurred, god damn compression.

In my eyes the kart photo was a good idea. Not necessarily because of composition and color alone, but because to me at least it tells a story. To me thats just as important as the technical aspects of the photo. Think about it; karting is the grassroot level of motorsport, so many legendary drivers started out as karters. What I see when I look at your photo is young talents fighting for that chance of one day becoming a top class racing driver. The will to win you might say.

I'm a fan of his particular style. I don't vote simply because I see the name "Moglet", which is what it reads as being implied. His shots usually remind me of ones I see in magazines that really draw my attention in, and the style I try to emulate when I have to shoot cars in real life. But, sure, whatever floats your boat.
