Okay, lots of 'discussion' here. I would remind eveyone to be careful with their posts and try not to get into name-calling as that can end badly. On the positive note, it's kept the thread at the top and we've got more votes today than most of last week.
Vintage_Green - the biggest problem you seem to have is the judging process, I can tell you that this is just the way pretty much all the comps here are run in an effort to keep things simple and in a timely manner and is a tried and true method. The only other option really would be to have a multiple choice poll including all entries followed by a final poll consisting of the top xx entries from that vote. This gets time consuming and labour intensive for the host.
Now I can't speak for anyone else but I enter (and host) these comps because I enjoy the challenge and if I were to get upset every time I didn't make the poll or some shots that I don't like did, then I would probably be most miserable.

I live in a democratic society it's just the way I was raised, and taught to believe is the right way.

In most democracies of the world the people of a given area elect an official they deem to have similar views. This official becomes a representative of that area in a congress of other representatives who in turn vote on new policy, changes to old, etc. that people of all areas then use as their abiding laws, rules or guidelines. If all people of all areas were to vote on all new policy and all changes to old policy nothing would be done in a timely or orderly fashion and things would soon fall to chaos.

Given that you have been here several weeks, possess collegiate level intelligence and observational skill, this should, with minimal adjustment, fit the structure of the photo competitions quite well.

Each of us could not propose a law and then expect each citizen to then read, understand, debate and then vote on each one. So too would this be inefficient for the purposes of these competitions. The way they work currently is, on a small scale, accurate to most all perceptions of democracy.

Steering back on track, great shots in the poll this week, even if one doesn't strictly qualify. Choosing the red LFA was a tough choice indeed.

I really wonder how old you are?! Because the most, or actually all kids here (Ashes included) act more grown-up than you do.

And just to let you know, I'm 27 and got a full-time job.
I also got over 350 cars in the game and over 1000 pictures taken. Not because I play all night long, it's more the reason that I've played and took pictures till day one the game came out. So that's that...

I could be wrong but i'm pretty sure my comment you quoted there was in defence to the dude I quoted? not you no offence.

Usually all night long these kids play nowaday's. Ontop of that you claim he has better pics then me. Well since I have only uploaded what they tell me to upload,and since I don't have all night everynight to search the internet for GT5 photo compititions I only have uploaded a total of 5 pictures to this site. To say a kid who has uploaded probably twice the photos is better then someone who's done less is ignorant to say the least.

Plus almost every kid on GT cheats and uses glitches to get money so he also most definitly has more cars to choose from for his pictures also. I have to work for what I have. I also go to College so I have 3-4 hrs of gameplay put in every four day's. 14 year old's have all night to do whatever.

P.S I can't even take your opinion seriously after seeing your album, who puts a carbon hood on..................................... all the cars you put it on?

I was playing n64 or Snes then, and alot of sports and friends. No internet. No Forums.
Not going on the internet arguing with adults is a wise thing kids should do.
Their Parents are failures. No Supervision at that age is messed.
Straight up.

This whole COD generation is messed up beyond belief.

I blame the parents and Government.

We had to have two separate polls just to fit them... and yet over 2/3 didn't receive a single vote. Bump that to over 3/4 if you count 2 or less votes.

This system allows the previous winners to actually have a hand in whittling the selections down; as it's their theme, what's so bad about that? To answer a previous question - competition creation is entirely open to the community. It's just a question of how much appeal there is out there.

As for the 330 P4 in the poll: everybody's human, and we all make mistakes. Nato - it's reset, and removed, so Aqua F1, bmxmitch, dice1998, speed157 will have to recast their votes!

Wow. Man just settle down and live your life. Don't worry about me and what I do.
Now from Monday to Thursday I would play an hour and a half a day at the max and generally go to bed at 8:30. Friday, Saturday and Sunday I normally play 5 hours a day at the max. Now it is still a fair bit more then you but it is nothing compared to what you say I do. I don't play every moment I can and I don't sit in school thinking about GT5 or COD all day. In fact, I focus on my work and I am getting high grades through all of my subjects.

And you know why my pictures are better? It's because I don't just sit down and take a few shots then post it on here for everyone to see and leave it at that. I actually look at everyone's pictures and see how I can get my pictures looking as good as them. I take on board criticism and learn from what other people have to say. I even go searching for some tips every now and then to get better.
If you want to be in a poll then you need to learn how to take better shots and how to edit them as well as some of the rules in photography.
Another reason I like to take pictures on the game is because I wouldn't mind going into photography as part of my career. So the editing is something I really want to nail.

Now to the cheating. We bought this game and can choose to exploit any glitches or loop holes in the game. I for one did use the duping method to get cars but it was only because I don't have the time and patience to constantly race around a track over and over again just to gain up the money to buy one race car. Plus last time I checked, me cheating doesn't effect you.

That's my 10 cents worth (although it's more like 10 dollars). I know Vintage will probably reply to this but no one reply back to him. I just wanted to speak my mind because most of this is revolved around me.
