Like #3 too. Almost all have at least some kind of track "art" but about half of them are just filling the empty poll spots.

RUF is a manufacteur of cars, just like Alpina. They aren't called RUF-Porsche or Alpina-BMW because they are standalone

Anyone else think that Enzo has some unique color toning for a straight from GT5 image...

That photo was taken straight from GT5. I have a habit of opening all of my photos in PS. However, I no longer have the save file on my ps3, and since I dont have the proof, I will gladly withdraw my entry. Sorry for any problems this may have caused, and I will remember to keep all of my entrys saved on my ps3, to avoid further issues.

This is my first time entering a competition. I am certainly no expert in photo mode. This is just a pic I took a while back, and this weeks criteria just happened to match my photo!

I miss the connection for quite a few as well (indy car, mercedes rome, kart space prowler, art morrison and yellow lines, and the 07 with the DB9) I also questioned how public road lines were considered track art, they are great photos, but to me lines on the road are meant for two way traffic would never look at them and think track art. It will more then likely win and hats off to nato for the great entry. The audi go with the R8, the mini one, and the vw bus one are all fantastic photos, great work guys.

Just my humble opinion but I think the 'obvious' thing to do was to cruise round the 'ring looking for logos and phrases and such but with the open interpretation and the emphasis on "Art" I see nothing wrong with using the 'lines' and yes I confess that was my way of going with this comp.
It seems a lot of peoples votes are leaning towards composition and less on 'Oh look.....theres BMW graffiti with an M3 parked on it' (not one there...just an example) , its tough to guess how people will vote and sometimes (most of the time) I get it wrong lol.
For what its worth I like all the poll entrants (mine excluded) and all deserve their place on merit.

Actually I'm kinda shocked to be leading this one, thought mine may have been too simple, but it's nice to have had a good idea that actually turned out to be a good idea. However this one's far from over yet - we'll see how it pans out.

There's also one slight problem, you voted for your own entry. But then again, it wouldn't be a problem at all since Nato and Reverand are doing so well.

I agree with this. Sometimes the poll votes go on the more 'artistic' creations and then the next they go on the more 'obvious' shots. It is hard to pick which shot to enter with.

Example: the recent 'Dark' and 'Light' poll - I remember it seemed to me there were some superb creative shots entered that didn't even make the poll.

Good stuff though and glad to see Nato's entry where it deserves to be. Creativity at it's best. 👍

Congrats reverand33, that was a close one. I had it right up to the last couple of hours, then you took the lead. To be honest I was surprised to be leading the whole time, there were several entries I thought should be up there - yours included.

I'm shocked, but the poll isn't closed yet. as you said before you never know until the very end. I've spent more time watching/checking this poll then I would like my employer to know about, lol. Thanks everybody for voting, not just for mine but for everyones, as nato said, I expected some of the others to be ahead of mine (usually I am excited to just make the poll), but it feels cool to have a good idea and I certainly plan to do more of these. I suppose I should start planning a new topic in the event that these results stick.
