My method (as it has always been since GT4's PMC) was to download all photos to a folder on my desktop and then go through them over and over again, deleting the ones I felt - for some reason or another - should be out compared to the rest I'd just cycled through.
I did this endless times, and it reaches a point were you have about 60 shots that you really like and you still have to delete 1/3 of them. That's 1 in every 3 shots you already like... It's not easy.

Anyway, I grab the opportunity to congratulate everyone who entered the competition. The quality was very high. 👍

Wow. Such a process. Well done on getting through the tough decisions.
Knowing this, I'm happy my shot made it. That's it... see it? The little black & white one down the bottom of the poll, haha.

Although I'm sure I won't get any votes as there are much better pictures up there, it's nice to know I made the cut.

I voted for the Delta. Simply looks real without a premium car. great shot! But so are 18 others here

It's really easy and it goes towards a new rule I've added to the competition itself - Keep in mind that the Host of this competition may ask for the original image and it must be submitted if so.

What I do, if I spot an entry seems edited, is to P.M. the entrant asking for the original one (the one in/from the USB used in the transfer) to be emailed to me.
The good thing about GT5 is that original images prompt a damaged error when I open them in Phototoshop, so, if that entry that was emailed to me appears as damaged, it means it is the original one. That damaged error does not prompt if you had already opened and saved the imaged in any program like Photoshop.

It is also important to note that some image host remove the damage error, that is why I ask for it to be emailed.

Prior to that, there are spots in the image that can show some editing. From the images in the poll above, I can't spot any edited entry.

i see a repetition in the zero voters... mine and the nice murcielago shot... both are over powered, and non-spoilered road cars... i suppose the terrible paintjob on my Merc cant be helping... but seriously? noo votes? i honestly thought id get at least ONE vote.

It's hard to believe, but it looks like I won! Thanks for all the votes! It was really, really fierce battle for the 1st place.

This really shows that in GT5, you can not only use and hone your real drivnig skills, but photo skills as well. It's true that real motorsport photography is mainly about capturing the right scenery at the right moment and in GT you can cheat with flying camera and frozen time, but still - seems like real racing photo experince was on my side in my first try in GTP competiton.
