Thank you I just happened to get very fortunate with the shot. I posted my other shots in my gallery. It almost became GT vs LMP lol.

I'm going to need all I can get for the next round. DM has been the holy terror of this competition, every shot he's had has blown everyone out of the water in the polls.

Oh well, it's awesome that I made it this far. For someone who BARELY made it past the qualifier (last one in) and who's never won a photomode competition before, top 8 is pretty damn good.

Now that the poll's over, I can say what I've wanted to about everybody's pic.

Jason_B: Your shot is awesome, my favorite of this poll. Not only is it completely original, but the quality and colours of the shot are awesome too.

atlop: Great sense of speed, but I think it's a bit dark. Just not enough to beat jason's shot.

DiabolicalMask: Awesome pic, I really don't know how you keep producing these almost photorealistic shots without photoshop.

bmxmitch: One of the best unedited shots of a standard I've seen. A little dark, but it would have had my vote against anyone other than DM.

Lellep: Good sense of speed, but that angle of the TGTT doesn't scream british. Also, the wide angle lens used is distracting and detracts from quality of the picture.

tonilleshusband: Awesome composition, captured the theme perfectly, but the colours are a little bland. Could've used a higher brightness, I think.

GT_johan: Great quality shot of the F40, very clean and the composition is great, but the jaggies on the smoke kind of ruin it for me. But the votes don't lie, you beat me fair and square.

Fixed.

Anyway, I just updated the Dashboard with final results. Drift match was the closest one yet, with a diference of one vote.
Still this round, best match to me was Match02 - Blue light, two quality entries, but still, best shot to me, was (again) from Diabolical Mask.

Semi-Finals will come in a phew minutes, and as I said in the 2.0 round 2 poll, themes will have a risen difficulty, challenging each entrant creativity.

Thanks MBS, I totally agree the colours were a little bland and I wished I could turn up the brightness. The problem was that if I turned the brightness up higher I lost all definition in the brickwork (from over exposure) and I lost the red in the Wyndham's sign. I tried other colours of cars to brighten my focal point but this car was already BRIGHT yellow and didn't look right in white or silver. All in all the more I tried to mess with the components of my shot the more I liked the original.

Also, I really was hoping to have a go at you. I felt bad not voting for you but I don't look at who took the shot before I vote so that kinda is how it is. Both of your shots were great, it's a shame you both couldn't move on.

I think the lightning was very good as it was, it has a certain "subtleness" that I think would have been "ruined" with too much light...
Also I feel like metalbeer.. xD I never won a pmc so a spot in the top 8 is very honorable for me

I know it was a bit dark, but if I would've lighten it up, the background wouldnt have the flair like it has now. I also didnt want to make the car look over-exposed (like DM did....hehe jk )
