Further explanation of the theme, in the words of JTSnooks:

"Try to make a single standard car look as beautiful as possible. Beauty, detail, and originality will be smiled upon. Simple, unimaginative, and jaggies will be frowned upon."

CARS: Standard only
LOCATIONS: Any
PHOTOTRAVEL: Sure, if you can sneak a standard car in.
UNIQUE RESTRICTIONS: Standard cars only and only 1 car in the picture. Entries with more than 1 car or a premium car will be disqualified.

If you have any questions, please, send me a Private Message or READ THIS.

  • No other editing, besides resize, is allowed outside GT5 Photomode. Do not crop or add any kind of text and/or signature;
  • Only one entry per user allowed. It must be that user own work and never used in another competition;
  • Entry post must be marked with a FINAL ENTRY text;
  • Entries may only be changed once and it must be indicated clearly;
  • Link edit of the same entry won’t count toward entry change;
  • Entries must be posted in either thumbnail or a preview linked to the full size;
  • Previews should not exceed the limit of 500px in either direction and have any effect not present in the original image;
  • Posts containing bigger previews than allowed, full sizes or links only will be ignored;
  • We recommend the usage of a free image hosting service, such as ImageShack, Photobucket or Flickr;
  • Winner gets to choose the following week's theme;
  • Only the best 50 entries choosen by the judge, will get through the Classic Poll Style;
  • Every fourth week, the poll will be H2H style: entries must choose a "team", and the best from each poll faces off;
  • The judge cannot enter his own theme.

Also, in a side note: I changed a bit 2 of the rules of this competition:

  • No other editing is allowed besides resizing. I emphasized this with a no crop and no text and/or signature, since I saw that some entrants put signatures and/or cropped they're entries.
  • Only one entry per user allowed. It must be that user own work and never used in another competition; The other rule said previously used in a competition, which implied that it was kind of okay to use it in more than one competition, as long as it was in the same time period (like same competition week). No, you cannot enter the same entry in more than one competition in any given time.

This aimed at me? I haven't edited the photo in anyway what so ever.

You want to take a shot in a landscape orientation? Wider than it is tall?

GT5 will export them exactly as you see them when they're saved. Use R1+Right Stick and you should be able to rotate the camera to whatever angle you want. If you want portrait orientation, just tilt your controller (or go into the Camera Menu and change it there) 👍
