Everyone needs to stop being so anal about what cars match certain years. It's meant to be a fun contest, not a study of F1 over the years! It's this kind of thing that's ruining the actual sport, please don't let it ruin the contest.

I completely agree with Moglet. If we are so picky, why allow use of FGT? It's not even a real car.

I´m only asking if reality will change something on it. And this discussion is imo much more reasonable than two cars having the same T-Cam colour...

Final Entry

Do you mind if I steal your idea? I have several pictures and I have taking one using that helmet cam idea but I won't use it if you don't want me to.

Also anyone got an opinion on this.
How do you guys think the filtered pictures would work on this theme. I for one am on the border line between both and don't know if I should use filters or not.

I have decided not to use them and go for a more realistic shot but I would like to know what you think.

We only have two REAL F1 cars and only a handful of F1 tracks with Fuji already removed from the set.

Please, no pedantics about track and vehicle combinations.

The polls for last week will be up in a few hours; PM received from Gtuned this morning, but I'm off to work.

Just realized the game makes it impossible for you to make a safety car shot with one of the Ferraris 🤬

We are allowed to take pictures of a wet race, aren't we? I have saved my replay of a race in the rain but I am not taking any pictures of it until tomorrow. Not that you needed to know.

Yes. Weather change is allowed.

Get an SLS AMG or the Gran Turismo Skyline Pace Car, send it on the track with one of the three F1 cars.

That's exactly how I imagined which Pace/Safty Cars would be.

The GP of Germany is this year at the Nürburgring :sly:

Thank you. And please make sure it is the GP/F track and not the Nordschleife track on GT5. Although you could use the GP part of the 24h version for weather effects.

What Moglet said. Although I understand why some people would want to make it as accurate as possible. Let's not tie ourselves with too many rules. So here is the guideline: Any F1 car/track combination is allowed as long as the track has hosted a race in the history of Formula 1. That means Fuji and Indy Road Course are also allowed. I will ask Slip to reflect the change on the first post.

And let's see some photos now!

Ofcourse not. Go ahead. It's a pretty popular camera position since you are able to even watch the race on TV with that view. :) And it would be cool to see what other people do with it. :P

As I´m failing to get another good shot of the F10 worthy to compete on this level *looks at TVR & Ferrari Fan* I´ll probably leave it with my current entry...

If anyone needs to use, any of the listed cars. Then I can put them to share on my profile.

Is Chrishan's entry allowed? It looks like its cropped to get that close to a standard car and I can't see the watermark.

The resolution is 1920x1080, which shows it isn't cropped. Along with that, you can hide the copyright logo.

But only if something behind it is more brighter, then the logo itself.

Ok, how do you get that close to a standard though, I keep getting the annoying message?

I think one way around the problem, is if the car isn't in the whole frame.

I use a little trick to do that. First, set up a high focal length. Second, go very close to the car until that message appears. Third, reduce the focal length now and at some point, that message will disappear. But it´s lot of work to get a satisfying angle.

I don´t know, what´s gone wrong at PD but they totally screwed up the tyres of the F2007 and F10. In Prologue they were looking so good and now both Ferrari F1 cars have tyres with extremely low textures :(

As above... dont have an F1 or FGT so not sure I can rustle up 5m cr's minimum before end of the week. Best of luck to everyone who goes for this one...liking what I'm seeing so far 👍

I'm out of this one... Haven't got an F10, and I'm 10m short :D
Nice entries everyone!

Hmmm... Which should I use... My F10, F2007, or FGT? :mischievous::sly:

True. I was simply trying to help everyone out as a voter what would kill a picture for me. I may or may not be the only one who thinks this way.
