Sports tyres have some grooves to dissipate water I think. Maybe it wont rain anyway as the settings will be very low, has anyone tried comfort softs? Someone said these are quite good in the rain.

Why can't we just use racing hards? That way if it does rain people will still be competetive? Just an idea?

I thought this was a dictatorship of ab iron fist Bret. Take control :D

We dont need a poll, it is what it is. If anyone objects to racing hards they will state it I am sure you couple of turnips!

I tested both, and the both are as good as each other, but still both useless in the wet, went round the Shumi S at 60mph and spun when its a 90mph+ corner in the dry :( Then I put racing rains on and went through at 70/75mph completely fine :)

I can think of one person who wouldnt like a last minute change Brett, but thankfully hes not doing the endurance races :D

No one got a problem with racing hards yet :) I dont mind them if it means we have rain options.

Edit- Racing Hards seem to be a good option here. Good practice race tonight, if I can eliminate the mistakes i wouldnt be too far behind.
Let me know how Ellis' Ferrari goes.

I think I'll drop :grumpy: I don't have time to get in shape with this car for saturday. Sorry Berty if I made u lose time. Thanks for the practise guys :)

Ellis's Ferrari is perfect right inbetween me and spurgeys pace so probally competeing with you. I need to wear in my V12 a bit more and find a better tune and eliminate the mistakes then I can keep up with Spurgey.

gippone- Shame mate you might have had a better race with a fuller room. If you change your mind join us on saturday 👍

Etid- That seems more realistic, the R8 is as I suspected too fast.

Hmmm. Which is why I have finally found ze car in have been zlooking for. I'm going for the veyron. The sp1 is not for me. And I tried the lambo again and it is just awfull in every way. I had a run with the bug and its faster :)

Ok, the veyron it is if you are sure it is cool with the 615 pp.
I hope the race goes well as far as connections as it should be a good battle :D

Yeah. People seem to write it off but with a good tune ut can corner and and the straights it flys.

On a side note, have you, aherm, finished Bret

How many are we expecting for this Saturday?

I hope no-one quits or disconnects and see's the race through.

Don't we all :)

bret- I spoke to my other half and we have agreed to be good boys so that microphones can be on :)

I will be at least attempting to do this race. I shouldn't think I'd disconnect but sometimes 🤬 happens.

M8 - Just make sure you reset router and clear cache before the race. I know I will be. :)

Ellis - Fancy a bit of BF3 or FIFA or MW3 later? I'm gonna get ready and then play a bit of FIFA if you want to jon me. :sly:

Il get some brekkie and get ready. Might tidy my room so can we bob on chat for a bit :)

Okay dear, I fancy some toasted muffins with pure salted English butter.

Boooo oh my you naughty man. im going brannies i think. <lol when i put that in my auto spell it put "I'm going grannies:lol:

Baawww, yes. I am naughty, naughty man. Bou cant beat a biping bot buffin, dripping bin butter in the borning. Bash it ber.

Yah, I hope we get plemty of finishers. The race will be abandoned if the number of drivers drops below 6 at any point and the series abandoned (this is the third attempt).
If anyone leaves the room for any reason then will either be banned from future events or punished if they are already participating in other PTRA championships. It sounds harsh but when you are 4th out of and people start pulling out which leaves you last out of four.. it kind of ruins your race :(

Etid- Bop de buuurrrgghhh
