@merlinrichards Did we actually run the last test race with fast or normal tire wear? I just ran a couple of laps with fast wear and I am heaving much more wear than during the first test race.

4 gt3, 1 gt2, 1 lmp, so I went in the gt2 class.

I know that a first series is hard to get going and this had a shaky start but I'm looking forward to the first race, all cars are on par and multi class is always a fun race series.

I'll be sorting out calendar with the Track dates.

What I think happened with you :@:MatheusBond , is I added you whilst the room was friends only and I would of needed to close room an re start ps3, opened up a new room with u now added to my friends list that's why you was un able to join I think. Don't worry though bud as the race was already run, I think you might be a hour out on room times to or I posted wrong, if when I got your add is the time you think the room opens. 👍

Probably the right issue, but, you only need to open a new room (no need to restart) 👍
 
No, I knew the room was already open. Like I said, I stayed out with my dad, but I got back in time for qualy. I couldn't see the room on the list, so I added you to get in. Unfortunately, even after resetting my PS3, I couldn't get in.

Exactly. Merlin would have had to create a new lobby for you to be able to join.

Before the first race we probably should post everything about qualy procedures and tire rules again. I mean not just OP to make sure everybody reads it.

I don't have a mic and have the other peoples mic's muted, but I saw the message telling me to go to the grid. I expected the grid to be on the pit straight where the race starts, that is why I hit the back of a car sitting in a queue on the run down to Eau Rouge. I was trying to get some heat in to the tyres.

Don't worry about it. I already thought something like that happened. At least you got some temperature in all of our tires. :lol:

We will que up like that before turn one in order of quaky results for every race so now you know. That's what the test is for, to get things like that sorted out.

Pit entry:
Pit entry is on drivers right after the exit of Stowe Corner. You may enter the pits at full racing speed, the AI driver will take control and slow you down enough.
Pit exit:
Pit exit can be a bit tricky. You regain control of the car after rising up on the track. The white line on the left marks the pit exit boundary, make sure you don't cross it

I will be there and I will hate every minute of it. I don't particularly like Silverstone.

I seem to be one of the few who actually like Silverstone. I hate the National layout, though.

I think my biggest issue with Silverstone is that with fast tire wear it is as if your fronts are made of ice cream. They just melt away so quickly that all you do during a stint is adjusting your line every other lap. I just can't get into a good rhythm in Silverstone because of that.

I don't seem to have that problem there, except for Abbey and Stowe (or 'Stove' as I call it :sly:).
