Gear 3, drop the 9. And 5th should be all the way to the right. I will fix the problem as soon as I get home. Thanks for pointing it out, and I hope you like it :scared::nervous::dopey:
Thanks. Gonna try it out now (Though I refuse to turn it pink, red chrome replaced that.) This is one of my favorites as far as looks go, so I hope it helped performance out, too.

Not to toot my own horn (well if I could do that I wouldn't' be on this sight :P), but is much improved over stock... Still a little tail happy

Yeah, I noticed the tail sliding a lot, but it is much better than stock. I made one slight adjustment to see if it could help though. What you had set to "extension" I set it to "compression", and vice versa. It seemed to help, although it could have just been the fact that I adjusted to the driving style needed for this car.

I only had time to test it on mount panorama (I have to go soon). It was a close race, because I kept messing up on the really long straight right before a hard turn, but I still beat them on professional by about a half a second. It accelerated really well, and once you get used to driving it, the car is not that bad at handling. Great tune, and hope to see more soon!

:banghead: just noticed that both my tunes are backwards (I used my GT5 template ). I'm glad you noticed this though that the ext. and comp. need to be switched

I'll fix that soon too 👍

Glad you enjoyed the ride :dopey :

Carnography
Firebird Trans Am '78
After completing our "Wicked Child" series and unleashing the "Jägermeister" to hunt down Supercars, Ol'Harvey Wallbanger was looking to relax a bit.
With his recent bout of Disco Fever still echoing through his mind the choice of cars was simple.
Now the Trans Am was seen by many as the last gasp of the soon to be extinct Muscle Cars. With outrageous amounts of power strait from the factory having been sacrificed on the twin alters of the insurance companies and anti-polution laws the auto makers had fallen back on over the top styling to attract the young buyers. The Firebird Trans Am was perhaps the most flamboyant example of flashy looks replacing true performance. Its prominant role in many movies and TV shows had it featuring prominently in many of the young Wallbanger's teen fantasies.
Never mind that in reality it was slow, heavy and handled like a cow in quicksand, it looked COOL!
Well now Ol'Harvey finally gets his chance to live out some of those fantasies, add to the already outrageous looks and along the way give that screaming chicken some performance to match its looks.
So get out those leasure suits, slip on your gold chains and aviators and indulge in a little "Carnography".
Ol'Harvey promises it won't give you hairy palms!:lol:

Oh, lol. And here I was thinking I made a nice improvement lol. And this has quickly become my favorite thread here. Both of the tunes I've tried here have been really good. I got in an online race up against a bunch of civics and skylines in a 500 pp max race. And I am by no means a great player, but I had a four second lead on them and was coming out of corners like lightning with the dahaitsu. I didn't do so great with the Plymouth, but that was my error and the car being naturally tailhappy, not the tune.

I think I'll use the Plymouth as a drift car. It goes into a drift really easily, and with a little counter steering, it comes out nice. Just tried it in a drift trial under arcade.

Thanks again. I could never get that kind of performance if I tried to tune it. I messed around with a Lancia Stratos, and made it veer hard to the right if I even tried to brake. Looking forward to more tunes soon.

Thanks; I haven't got GT6 yet. I've asked for it for Christmas and saw my name on Santa's list in the windows of the Hudsons Bay store on Queen St in Toronto, so I'm cautiously optimistic that a package of the appropriate size will be under the tree come the 25th. This tune has gone into my bookmarks folder for future reference

Hey XD! I've already told you online that I'm in love with your "Trans AM", but you was inside your garage "wallbanging" probably and you didn't saw my message I think.

It's "must have" special car and tune for collectors. Very well done, man! 👍

Toyota RWD sports cars…we have…the MR2, the Supras…more recently the GT86…I think that's it? Oh right, there's also the 2000GT. That's it, right? No?

Let's face it, you probably forgot about this car too. It's still here though, somewhere amongst all the millions of Toyotas in a GT game. The Toyota RS200. The RS200 was the guinea pig I experimented on endlessly when I first started tuning, sadly, it never did work out and as a result, I moved on and…uh…just forgot about it. Well, to make a lasting impression this time, it's finished in a rather attractive hot pink, sports a gigantic wing and a LFA-esque exhaust note. Oh…I suppose there's also the fact that it does do corners quite nicely now, once you get used to how sensitive it is.

It looks like the clueless, over the hill outlaws have been busy! There are already a bunch of great looking tunes in the garage.👍

Its been a busy week but I hope to get some tuning in over the next few days. The 450pp Midget II is almost ready for publishing. I am also working on tuning a MR-S V Edition (6MT) '02 while completing some of the IB races. Now to wait around for that 1255mb update to finish.

@Theo777 looking forward to seeing your tunes.👍👍

@Onboy123 will have to give your RS200 a go soon, like that car a lot.

My current projects are a Spitfire that keeps trying to kill me and a very composed Mazdaspeed Atenza '05 that is looking to take on Audis, BMWs and the like in sports sedan classes.:gtpflag:

Spitfire? Like the GT5 days then, finished in chrome and finishing the race backwards. Especially now that we get more power from cars and when they can be even lighter than before.

Yes the "Silver Bullet" is making a return...without wing this time. Will most likely end up with 450PP safe driver/500PP I just soiled my knickers versions.:lol:

Have alread used the 500PP version to win the iB British Lightweights, but it is far from a releasable tune still.:scared:

This is FF car as every one know it will be understeer car (corner in and out ) but actually NOT , I improve the tune on it in GT5 but i didn't post it , So when i saw the car here in GT6 i take it for a spin and work on the changes between GT5 tune and GT6 tune . The car is fast and you can drift by it also .

Remember slow in fast out is the key of FF cars .

Have fun drive safe and be the winner on the NURB RING :sly:

So, @XDesperado67 I finally got around to trying some Soft Core Carnography (Everything but the color...I wanted Imperial Blue with a Bird on the hood). This is without a doubt, my favorite car I've tried. It's easy to handle but it's got some good power too, and except for a little incident where I wiped out a GT40 and a Cobra on the 2nd to last turn in the 3rd race [pictured below], I easily took all golds in the 600pp Classic Muscle Series, which paid me back all the credits I used on the car...so instead of just tuning this car, I just bought a new Trans Am to tune for some Hard Core Carnography.

As for my reaction to the Hard Core...HOLY CRAP. It took me some time to get used to, but once I was able to keep off the walls (and keep from peeing myself) for more than 30 seconds at a time, I got to appreciate the muscle of this car. No need to side swipe AI guys in the second to last turn in this car. They're all a few turns back. Took the Fighting Muscle Series with ease, earning back most of what I paid for the car, again...so now I'll try something else from you guys. While I wouldn't recommend this car for any noob, as I might the Wicked Child, or ever the Soft Core Carnography...I would think this might be a good car for a noob to learn to handle some muscle. Two thumbs up for both Carnography incarnations.

Can't wait to try a few more tunes in this thread...so I'll make up a couple more now...

I think this picture really shows both my driving ability, and my style.

Silent Night
xguz.jpg

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the shop
Not a tuner was working, they all had to stop;
The stockings were hung by the oil drums with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;

The tuners were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of gearboxes danced in their heads;
And Cy in his 'helmet, and Harv with his cheer,
Had just settled down for a ice cold beer,

When out on the lot there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the couch to see what was the matter.
Away to the door I flew like a flash,
I tripped over the parrot, and fell with a crash.

The moon on the hood of the new Tesla with glow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below,
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But three brand new cars, with only one gear,

I sprang to my car, to my team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I tryed him exclaim, ere I drove out of sight,
"
HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD-NIGHT!"

Sorry folks. There were supposed to be three new tunes posted after my poam, but having some computer issues :(. Please stand by :dopey:

Very good to hear @Dagger311 👍

Greetings of the Season chaps!. I hope you have good and peaceful time, wherever you are in the world.

I'm hoping to get some time to try out some of these tunes over the next week or so, and maybe I'll see some of you on 'The Hill' (I will have prepared cars next time :dunce:, though I do love the Mini Marcos ).

And as a Triumph fan, I am looking forward to the Spitfire @XDesperado67 :dopey:.

Cheers all.
