Glasses probably wouldn't have much, if anything to do with it. It has more to do with your brain noticing it more than anything else.I actually got a new prescription for my glasses on Thursday - this is the best my eyesight has been in quite some time. I did notice it a bit during the GT Academy, but not with GT6.
Except in this case, or rather with the absence of relying on other senses, the eyes are where the brain is getting the info from...how else would it notice the frame-rate drop?Glasses probably wouldn't have much, if anything to do with it. Right, but some peoples brains will just notice a difference more than others. For instance my eyes get drawn to every bit of screen tearing, while other people it just doesn't bother them and thus they don't notice it as much. Same with framerate. Some people's brains will just ignore it.Except in this case, or rather with the absence of relying on other senses, the eyes are where the brain is getting the info from...
Ah, I see what you mean now - possibly so then. I still maintain that it is an improvement on the GT Academy version.Right, but some peoples brains will just notice a difference more than others. Definitely sounds like an improvement. I haven't heard many complaints about Tearing and Flickering, which is excellent. Hopefully some of the Framerate issues can be addressed through a patch considering it seems to be more along a track to track basis.Ah, I see what you mean now - possibly so then. Maybe GT7 will be better ... I wouldn't count on it.
Ok ive been racing in bumper cam view but when I switched to cockpit view the screen got noticeably darker and some what pasty I also noticed quite a bad frame rate drop it made racing in this mode really un enjoyable which is a real shame, has anyone else noticed this ? Its only in cockpit mode all other views are crisp and clear.
I would count on it. PD knows how to utilize the power of every console properly, so they'll use the PS4's powerhouse hardware towards their advantage.
Er... I'm kind of confused how that argument works.
It's called utilizing/optimizing the hardware. Higher Quality without sacrificing the framerates. BTW, the PS4 has some pretty good overclocking speeds, but of course that will only work in optimal conditions.

I'm aware. But how does "PD knows how to utilize the power of every console properly" work as an argument for GT7 on PS4 when it didn't work for GT5 on PS3?
