Does anyone else have bug where in the garage list the PP for almost all cars is wrong? Then you select car, go into tuning screen, then exit back to list and correct PP is shown. It's been this way for a while and I can't believe I'm the only person to notice.

I'll make a vid for proof if it doesn't happen to anyone else.

Yes! I have noticed this, but never reported it because I always figure that if I just noticed it, 500 other people already know about it. lol But a very frustrating bug indeed. Worth reporting.

This is from an update ages ago shortly after the PP was introduced. The introduction of PP used to include tire choice in it, but they changed it to exclude them. During this change the PP did not update on any cars in your garage. once you have opened the car and returned to your garage it will show the correct PP for the rest of forever :)
 
Didn't see it in the OP, but the adjustable center diff now adjusts in increments of 5 (like it should, I guess?) rather than increments of 1.

That sucks. I have 1241 cars.. Most will be wrong for a long time. There should be a fix for this, as sorting by pp is broken.

I fully agree. it's a pain. just letting you know it isnt just you and it's been around for a while 👍
 
Don't know if anyone notice this. Wasn't in the first post anyway.
Some lines and objects gets on top of cars in the mirrors on some track. This is Suzuka.
This isn't new, its been there since 2.0 or 2.02 I believe.
I think it's the same issue like SSRX sinking cars in road.

I noticed a strange issue that allows to buy infinite cars from collector's dealer when you buy them sequentially. After the 5th or 6th car, the button remain enabled allowing the trick... I don't know if it is prior spec II update...
I couldn't replicate that. Need more reports.

Not sure if this has been noted yet, but there was a message when I loaded up GT5 and I found the message on the website as well.

Has there ever been a backfire sound? Because my 2012 GT-R clearly pops when it backfires.
Need some more reports on this. I don't remember any backfire sounds.

I use the DFGT wheel and I swear that the steering is now way different with race cars. It's as if they now have the same sensitivity as road cars. Anyone else experiencing this?

didn't try race cars, but i've tried couple of road cars like GT-R black, enzo and few others stock and i'm sure that there's less FF when going over bumps and curbs etc.

  • Improved the performance of online races to provide a better racing experience. However, please note that using voice chat by 12 or more players can reduce screen refresh intervals.

Correction of Known Issues (official):
  • Fixed an issue where speedometer, position and/or best lap time is sometimes not displayed on the 2nd player side of the 2P Split Screen.
  • Fixed an issue where exhaust noise is heard even after changing from a combustion engine car to an electric car in the same online race.
  • Fixed an issue where if the game is started without signing in online and then saved, the cars and tracks included in the Racing Car Pack and Course Pack would become unusable.
  • Fixed an issue where electric cars would not recharge in the pit and become immobile.
  • Fixed an issue where when the oil of the Toyota Prius was changed in GT Auto, the motor ceased to function correctly.
  • Improved the force feedback of the Guillemot Thrustmaster T500 RS, where the 10 level adjustment of feedback force (Especially when using the X2010 and X2011) was not working effectively. Also improved a condition where it was difficult to drive in the intended path.
  • Improved the force feedback for the Logitech Driving Force™ GT, G25 Racing Wheel, G27 Racing Wheel and GT Force®Pro, where the 10 level adjustment of Feedback Force (Especially when using the X2010 and X2011) was not working effectively.

Correction of Known Issues (unofficial):
  • Jaguar XJR-9 paint chip has own name now
  • Jaguar XJR-9 premium can be used in LMP restricted online races
  • Car change number behaviour has been updated
  • Nissan GTR Black Edition gearbox has been fixed
  • VW 1200 '66 has now correct weight (however not in dealership description).

Known Issues

Gameplay
  • You can't use your custom tracks in 2 player battle
  • Hitting START button in Speed test screen places car in tunnel net to pits and test lasts only few meter untill finish line is crossed (more info by GTPorsche).
  • Electric cars battery drains with unlimited tire/fuel selected
  • Most karts can't be used in Kart Special events
  • Replay rewind/fast forward functions don't work in replays that were recorded in 2 player mode
  • When batteries are empty in electric car you can still go faster than 50kmh limit by gently operating with gas pedal - more info by Haaveilla
  • Users report that sometimes while drifting points counter display incorrect text "MaxSpeed" (image by @Mikkun3939)
  • Driving over 600km/h causes sound loss (video by Xenn)
  • User reported that when using Nissan Leaf for the first time after playing online with another car, Nissan have sounds of previous car.
  • Sometimes slow loading bar before a hang up when you enter a online trial/single race/seasonal race/2P battle or joining a lounge. Quiting the game required.
  • HUD in 2 player mode sometimes still does not appear correct. Some users report that only first player hud is visible
  • Users report third person view camera is skipping moving left/right in various conditions (usually after more than 15 laps)
  • On rare occasion, a pit crew (minus the crewmen with the jack and lollipop) will appear surrounding a car before the start of an otherwise normal race in the replay.
  • Some users report issues with engine noise on certain cars. The engine audio is sometimes too quiet, and sometimes only comes through on one speaker. This issue is reported with the Viper ACR, 787b, and others.

Online gameplay and features
  • Sometimes users don't recive money and XP after online race. Info on official GT site
  • Online races "major bug" https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=237539
  • Premium Jaguar XJR-9 cannot be used online when restriction is set to Le Mans Prototype. The Standard version still works though.
  • Game freezes sometimes when exiting from SSR X room (more info by Lewis_Hamilton_)
  • People can't hear/see everybody in the lounge but not always both. (Not had this problem personally but it has happened to friends this week. Usually happens when I have multiple countries in my room. Aussie can't see Canadian etc but not always). - reported by mercgoat
  • Sometimes track options are unavailable to room leader until a reset by switching damage on and off etc. - reported by mercgoat
  • Random lounge disconnects especially when joining a room. Again I have them more often recently and people entering my lounge seem to get booted right away much more frequently. (I get disconnected once in a room and racing very rarely. Maybe once a week. Sometimes the whole room crashes with me sometimes not. People joining and leaving before they got in is very common though.) - reported by mercgoat
  • Sometimes comments box appears in a seasonal trial where your temporary rank or next lap invalid message comes up but no text appears. This also happens while driving in a lounge you have people enter/leave but no text appears. - reported by mercgoat
  • During practice drivers names are missing. You see the number and a empty box but with no name. (Very common) - reported by mercgoat
  • 9A. Black screen after a seasonal race or leaving a lounge. Requires reset of the game but usually not the system. (Still happening but not common. Maybe twice since 2.03)
    9B.More serious then 9A the game and system can really freeze requiring system reset when you leave a room. It can happen on the red box as if you were still in the lobby or right when you get back to the open lobby menu. (Not as common as 9A had it happen when I got back to open lobby a few days ago. Was not happy)

  • Very very long lock ups or even total freezes have also happened when going through your garage in a lounge. Usually quitting the game works for me on this one and the system doesnt reset. (Happened in anothers lounge a few days ago. Didnt freeze but took 3-4 minutes for car to load) - reported by mercgoat
  • Mic chat in rough shape at times when I am positive all people have all good internet connections so not sure its always lag. (2-3 lounges since 2.03 have had my mic cutting out) - reported by mercgoat
  • People in lounge sometimes dont have the yellow circle next to their coffee cup. (One friend I race with a lot shows up 50% of the time roughly. From the same area too.) - reported by mercgoat
  • Lounge leader can sometimes start a race in the pits and be left off the grid. (Heard recent reports. No one I race with though) - reported by mercgoat
  • Black screen when the race starts. There is no activity usually until one person leaves the room. Aften the the race tends to start as normal. (More common since 2.03) - reported by mercgoat
  • Coundown for the race to start sometimes goes to 0 then goes back up usually to ten. (More common since 2.03) - reported by mercgoat
  • Tire screech sometimes goes away in lounge. (One person in a room recently reported this) - reported by mercgoat
  • Various issues with online penalty system - more info by mecgoat here
  • Sometimes after starting race online users are stuck in black screen. After long time race starts immediately without countdown. (more details by Dan360)
  • Sometimes after pausing a game controls do not appear (usually on Nordschleife) (more info by EliteDreamer)
  • It is possible to have an online race with combinations of karts, F1, and standard cars by fiddling with the settings in the right way.

Tracks and course maker
  • SSR X: There is invisible wall between track lane and pit entrance (image of Jag with full throttle)
  • SSR X: Cars are sinking into the road in rear view mirror
  • Kart Space I: The number of corners is wrong, both regular and reverse. The track has 9 corners but the game counts 8.
  • Course maker: Sometimes -5 or -4 corner sharpness makes it actually as sharp as +5
  • Nurburgring Nordschleife: A colorful line sometimes appears starting from the middle of Caracciola Karussell ("The Carousel") and ending about 200m later. This issue is not always reproducible, but has been reported by multiple users. (image by mercgoat)

User interface and misc. bugs
  • The equipment the GTAuto guy uses to roll under a car for an oil change is now stuck at the edge of the screen.
  • When car is changed, change count updates after race/gtauto visit, not immediately
  • Usually PP value in garage (list view) does not update how it should.
  • Changing cars in pop-up menu in cars list does not affect number of changes in particular cars statistics (more details by Dan360)
  • In GTAuto during paint animation electric cars have generic petrol engine sound
  • Horns/gear/paint/museum cards does not stack properly. For example I own two seperate Horn 160's instead of one with a quantity of two
  • The Car Restoration Coupon description says it Removes Tuning Parts in the first screen and than in the confirmation screen it says All tuning parts, wheels etc. will be kept.
  • When car is going on highest revs and hit from behing rev counter goes off scale (image by GT_johan)
  • Wheels description in GT Auto and online manual still states that you can't change wheels for standards and suits. Strangely some users have it corrected, some not. (might be difference between NTSC and PAL english version) (image by mercgoat) (image by mercgoat)
  • User can't sell or remove DLC cars from garage [unwanted feature]
  • Rare sound bug sometimes occurs in the dealerships when staying at an individual car's screen for an extended period of time (http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=US&h...&v=QcN-gun1MI8).

Photo mode/photo travel
  • Photomode. Bloom and flare effect does not reset when you turn filters off. So after turning on then off cold or mono filters you have no bloom, but after warm it's there but even heavier than in normal mode. Flare is gone always after filter change becouse filters don't use it and you can turn it on only by leaving camera mode (when filters are off).
  • In Gion, Kyoto Photo Travel location there is strage loud sound in background, something like construction site.

Cars specifications and descriptions

  • VW 1200 '66 still has wrong weight in dealership, despite correct weight in garage.
  • Daihatsu MIRA TR-XX Avanzato R '97 looses power and pp after installing stage III engine upgrade
  • VW Museum card 47 has a picture of a Polo but describes a Golf (image by mercgoat).
  • In some cars descriptions fuel efficiency figures are wrong (999L/100km, or Xkm/L where it should be XL/100km). Cars affected: Priuses, Golf VI R, Honda Insight LS 2009
  • Lamborghini Aventador needs a space between "mph" and "of" in description (US english version) (image by mercgoat).
  • XJR-9 (standard and premium) description claims it ran LeMans in 1998. Really it was in 1988 (US english version) (image by mercgoat).

I apologize for everything being quoted, I am not too great at all of this blogging computering stuff, but you mentioned in the original post about adding incorrect information regarding vehicle's and their descriptions or information. Although your suggestion is fitting, I think that an AWD car that is not only labeled as AWD, but the description specifically says it is AWD, is just as important as a Lamborghini not having a space mark between mph and of, or as important as another vehicle having too many spaces in it's title.

I figured a master list should include, well, everything. I would think the things from the list you suggested should also be added, as you want the list sent to Kaz and fixed, one would think it should be as complete as possible.

My statement was with regards to the vertigo and 7 race car. Obviously I have never owned either of these vehicles, but the theory stands true for a large number of real world road cars.

The dihatsu Mira may well be a bug as, regardless of pp, the engine power should increase (I think) as you would be boreing the pistons and thus increasing fuel flow which would, I should imagine, increase power. The pp may be as with the vertigo and 7, but I think the power should still increase. Engine tuning is not like a turbo, it should increase power over the whole rpm range...

The best way to tell if its a bug is to upgrade the engine on the Daihatsu Cuore, its a carbon copy of the same car and if I recall The stage 3 engine upgrade applied without issue. But that was awhile ago and I can never seem to find these things in the UCD :/
 
Ever since release in 2010 I've never seen my Nissan GT-R Concept '01 listed in my garage when in Online Lobby events, and I still can't see them :(.

You can see the white lines on the ground on the car.
Also another glitch I havent seen anyone post.If you drive your fully tuned Aventador in Arcade mode you only race GT Citroens and when you pause nothing shows up and you have to quit the game to exit.Also the music doesnt play

Im asking if these have been fixed because they were there after 2.03
 
It seems like shuffle races are super bugged out now. Everybody getting booted but the host. I got booted 3 times like this then hosted a room and it ran fine up to about 14 people then I started the race and it put everybody on the grid then everybody got booted but me. Anybody else having bugs?
 
The PP limit is right. When adding more power the car can't take it. It's not wrong its right so stop moaning

Sorry Captian Know it all let me stop posting possible bugs because its just moaning and it offends you. AGAIN like I said for the 1000th time the 2j is what made me think it was a bug. Get over yourself.
 
I haven't seen this one listed, and I'm surprised as I'm sure other people must have noticed.

When you are watching people race online, or watching an online replay from your library, no one's speedometers other than your own will read above 357mph.

Example? Not that I don't believe you, but I just wanna know if it was one of the ones that could do it in GT4 but couldn't before 2.04; or if it was new ones entirely.

The Z could. I don't believe the others could, I tried to change the S7's rims right after that update came out and it didn't let me, but now I can, and just did.

Awesome how the Saleen can now have its wheels changed. But I don't see the Veyron getting this treatment anytime soon.
