I smoked 3 cigarettes last night, one of them was a 100 length one. New record... now to lay off the tobacco for a while so I stay not addicted...

I can't believe how short of a time it's been since I couldn't smoke more than two or I wouldn't feel good, now I'm up to at least four or more a day. If I were you I'd lay off the tobacco forever unless you want to get addicted, there's no middle ground and it just keeps getting worse.

My record so far, 16 in one day. Not that I'm proud of that or anything, that's just about $5 right there, gotta remind myself not to hang out outside with four other smokers.

Out of curiosity what were they?

This is tricky.

I used to date A last year. A is now going out with B. However, A has admitted to still liking me, and is considering ditching B. However, I am now...erm...involved with B. Whilst also enjoying the company of C and D (whom A is also smitten with). And I don't particularly want any of them, I'm still after E.

Dude stop now, Thats the way I started when I was 15 years old and you will slowly start to smoke more and more and you may not even notice till its too late. Your probably allow yourself like one or 2 at a party and maybe one with a friend on a special occasion but you will start to make "special occasions" more often. Soon when ever you hang out with certain people you will have one, maybe then two and then maybe one by yourself to relax. Its really a sneaky addiction that once you realize its a problem its too late. I swore I wasn't addicted and that kept me going back because I thought I had it under control but you really don't.
I know I'm only 19 and probably sound ridiculous and hypocritical but im serious smoking addiction sucks. The saying that its just as hard to quit as heroine is true:tdown:

Thats Nothing lol, prom weekend (3 days) I killed 5 packs of newport 100s. I have been slowly cutting down since my peak which was between summer before senior year to the summer after were I was at a pack a day. I dont necessarily plan on quitting but I am making packs last now 4 or 5 days just by cutting out alot and not smoking more than twice every 2 hours or so. So you still get the light headed feeling kinds.

I don't get any feeling at all anymore, I really miss the rush I used to get when I first started.

I hear you about trying to quit, I've tried a few times and I can't even make it a day. The longest I've gone was about three days because I couldn't afford them, and even then I scrounged up a dollar every day to have a terrible black and mild. The fourth day I was able to bum some off my friend and it was like being reunited with a long lost family member, lol. Around the second day my sister was playing a song I didn't like and I just lost it, slammed my head against the cupboard, yelled at her, and spilled the drink I had in my hand all over the kitchen sink, none of which I actually meant to do. On top of that the third day my mom called me and woke me up to bring groceries upstairs (third story of an apartment building, not fun) so I punched the side of my desk wicked hard, my knuckle still hurts.

That being said, if all else fails, at least make sure you can afford the addiction. Withdrawal is a bitch, especially when you're not in control of whether or not you can have one.

I'm not sure to laugh or grimmace with the migraine that came with trying to follow all of that :dunce:.

Good luck mate...

Quit now while you're ahead. Unless you already have a proper job and know you can afford it. And have good lungs.

I seem to have found a middle ground... I can stay away for months at a time, then just figure "hey, why not" and take a dip/smoke. I'm still good!

1 was a newport 100, the other 2 were marlboro lights

Now, if Danny (Gender Neutral name) is dating A, presumably a female, who is now dating B, whom which Danny is involved with.

Did someone just come out of the closet or is he one of those greedy people that just can't decide which one they like better?

There's where my head started to hurt. Either "Danny" is male and involved with some bi-chicks or... :ouch: I'll just wait for the *possible* full explanation.

Edit: Can someone draw a diagram? :dopey:

The latter, although in this case none of them are particularly brimming with the XX's. This isn't news.

Be careful what you wish for...

Yeah, I kind of went a little wild on ebay over the weekend and spent more than I should have.:embarrassed: Although I bought one thing for someone else so I will get some back.

At least I will have a nice Christmas.

Yes it is a very expensive habit and for a poor college kid I literally like scrounge up change until I can afford it and I don't stop still I get my fix. Actually about an hour a go I was smoking my last Newport 100 and I was like "oh no I have no money!" Lucky for me as I get out of the gti to go get supplies for my project I found a 3/4 full pack of Marlboro Lights 100's ! They may suck but hey its free lol.
Last April I quit for 2 weeks and 3 days, I used snus as a replacement, one on the drive to school, one before bed. It was going good until me and the gf went through a rough patch and I just reverted back. Since I have been at college I have cut down a bit, mostly because I have little money to spare. Today I had 2, mainly because its freezing and pouring outside. My average now is about 5 or so (unless I'm at a party and/or intoxicated)👍.

Lights, what kind of man are you :P

Reds and 27s are where it's at man.

Good luck with that, but don't say we didn't warn ya. I have a friend that smokes more than I do but can quit for long periods of time with no problem, which to me is absolute magic, but I guess it doesn't effect some people in rare cases.

Seems to me that you need to move on in the alphabet. Go find an F.

Yeah, me and my friend used to go out into the fields at night with kitchen roll, deodorant cans and paper. Build a cover for the deodorant (spray a bit around the paper to help ignite) and then light the paper and run to a safe distance. Some of the explosions we got were 10 feet high of momentary flames.
