YEAH!!!! Curtis already told me about this, but now I saw this thread. Official congrats for the both of you!

Now curtis, you better drive faster there than when you drive at Bob's, because I CAN BEAT YOU THERE!

That's right everyone, there has been more that one time that I've beaten Curtis racing GT4... Well, I think there's more than once. I could go back and look to make sure, but I have to go for now...

:yawn: I can beat Curtis in my sleep and a hitman at my side . One thing is certain, ANYONE is beatable Curtis has the odds advantage when he races against us Kyle. Its just random I say, all it takes one **** up and there goes all that $$ u spent on the event. Better practice guys! GL to u both! Oh and I hope u win it all Curtis, that way at Bobkart's when I beat you for the 1 or 2 races I get I can say I beat the best

Don't be too cocky Dan. I've been to a smaller GT4 event not long ago and lost in the first round of 1 on 1 competition even though I was the 2nd fastest overall after the qualifying session. You would maybe think I lost because I suck, but free practice lapping and live racing is really different. One tiny mistake and you've lost the race. That's what happened to me... actually I was a little too cocky myself after seeing how easily I had gotten the 2nd fastest time. (I had a semi spin in my fastest lap)

good point... this is a ln race, which is something i'd really like to experience sometime.
Where you don't just have to be blindingly fast... you have to be blindingly fast, that day... pressure++

actually, you just have to be decently fast but more importantly not make mistakes. No good being uber fast for 1 lap but making a mistake every other lap.

well just checked my finances atm and i have managed to dig up 1,750 dollars of my own money, so all i need is an extra 700 or something like that, shouldnt be difficult to get that

purchased a round trip flight for $1720
saved $170 because a co-worker of mine worked as a travel agent too!
~originally it was gonna be $1892

and thnx again to all the people offering financial support, but i dont think i'd feel right accepting the money
~its an asian thing i guess

now i will go and try to get Red Bull as a sponsor and maybe a couple other companies
~doubt they would sponsor me thou... maybe next year, after i show some results

one more thing: are you guys playing with your DFP´s? or you guys will have to use the DS2... controller is something very important... make sure you guys get that one right... good luck and trash those guys H brothers:tup:

DFP all the way, ds2 is too inconsistent and inprecise, particularly when trying to edge the car as close to the extreme left or right of the track when setting up to take a corner, and also when braking for a corner as u turn in.
