To me it's not about the console or computer running the software it's the software itself. I'm a huge fan of certain franchises.
I adore Zelda games (hence a tattoo and constantly wearing tshirts to show this) but if Nintendo decided not to make another console but brought thier games to Sony/Microsfoft/Steam/IOS/OSX/ etc id get that hardware to get my fix.
I understand the need to show your allegiance but I've never understood the whole web-based culture that follows. If you live gaming why would you limit your possibilities to play some outstanding games.
If you'll excuse me now, I need to go buy some PS4 games for my dad. (I'm enjoying "A link between two worlds")
