I'm pretty sure the Water Pump on my Cooler Master Seidon 120V is dead. Any recommendation for a new cooling for my i7 4770k?

--> Back Story

I was playing Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead with my chaps, and all of a sudden my CPUMeter -> Gadgets starts beeping. I turn off my desktop. Wait a bit... And i turn it back on, And the Radiator Fan just jacks up to 100% i go to BIOS and its at 70*C and it climbs, climbs till 99*C... I turn off my Desktop and feel the radiator and its Cold, When its suppose to be hot :\, However the blue light is on saying its operational which is im pretty sure a lie.

Have you called Cooler Master about this? Are you under warranty still?

I would still call, warranty or not, to see what they say. Maybe you can get a free replacement or something, who knows 💡 .

Recommendation-wise, why not go back to air cooling?

I don't know if im still under warranty. Bought this back in 05-19-14. Will need to ask my Dad about it. Bought everything off newegg.

Skimming through the CM warranty portal:

CM Warranty
All products from Cooler Master at least carry 1 year warranty from the date of purchase, with the exception of power supply units which carry a 2-5year warranty. If no proof of purchase can be presented upon request, Cooler Master cannot be held responsible for warranty service.

You should be well within your warranty to recieve a replacement, though, you'll probably have to use a backup cooler in the meantime (your CPU should have came with an intel-branded cooler, I think). The invoice can also be found on newegg as well!

Awesome. Thanks dice1998 👍 I think i have still the OEM i7 4770k Fan for temporary use. Till i get my water cooling back.

Ill be putting the CPU Cooling Fan Heatsink that came with i7 4770k. I should be fine since its not OC. And my basement is quite cool so i wont see a issue. Next step after that is dealing with CM :).

So if the stock cooler is good enough, why did you wastespend money on an addon cooler? Liquid, no less?

Looks.

Well honestly i though personally it would cool the CPU well, And it did. Didnt go above 55*C while rendering videos. And idles around 30*C or so.

Stock coolers on AMD and Intel are to the point of "That'll Do"

They get loud when the CPU is under load
They attact dust
They are not as good as water cooling.
Water cooling looks nicer.

Put stock cooler on and it makes me cringe  I miss my Liquid Cooling *Cries in a corner*

Idle is around like 47-55*C and it keeps bouncing
