Great drive Memto, stayed clean with a good pace. Well deserved win.
Cheers mate, you kept me honest the whole time and I believe you would have had me as you stopped to do 4 laps at the end didn't you? I completely forgot and put 3 laps in :/

If I didn't fall off the road yes I'd have probably sneaked under you at your last stop, but it was a shorter stop and with 4 lap old tyres I suspect my time in the lead would have been short lived. My goal was to hopefully force you to make an on track pass, but I took one too many chances and got busted ignoring the "keep off the grass" signs; Go to Wall. Go directly to Wall, do not pass Go, do not collect $200.
If I'd held you up longer earlier in the race I might have been close enough at your final pitstop to give me a lead big enough to defend. Best man on the day got the job done, ran fast, stayed clean, well done out there.

It does make the prospect of the N24 even better, knowing that so many people are on great form and running very close lap times. Took me ages to build up just 5 secs on you

We have another DART team member that would like to run in Saturday's event - MadMax, who has driven with us before.
Would you permit his entry?

Oil change isn't mandatory and unless it is specified for the particular car, then engine or turbo tuning is not permitted.

ty for the answers , I only know what it takes too get 575 bhp in the mercedes (oil change) , but does all the other cars require an oil change too get too their max bhp ?

According to my sources; No, only the SLS requires an oil change to achieve the BoP.
I believe we are both concerned about oil degradation as it wears off through a stint leaving us down on power.

Based on some quick rough calcs we can work out how it plays out for the SLS.
Stock the car has 570hp
With oil change (+5%) it has 598.5hp.
To achieve 575hp, the engine limiter must be set at 575/598.5 (96.07%)
When the 5% hp boost runs out, the engine will still be limited to 96.07%, of 570hp not 598.5hp, leaving it with 570 * 96.07% (547.62hp)
So once oil wears off the SLS will be at 548hp, down 22hp from the BoP.

excactly stig and I dont find that fair too be hounest , iff you dont change the oil and do the engine tuning , you will end up with 574bhp , that way is more fair I think ?

edit . with engine tuning you will need 613pp too end up with 575bhp .....

Wow you're good at this, how long does the boost last for?

200km is when it starts falling away, it's entirley gone by 300km.
A lap of the combined circuit is 25.36km, and we are completing that in about 8 minutes. (25.36/8 = 3.17 km/min).
3.17 km/min converts out to 3.17*60 (190.2km/h) as an average speed and means that oil begins wearing off in 1.05 hours (1:03) and is gone in 1.58 hours (1:35)
