Cheers Dave. If you can give me the specific colour name, that'd be great.

One week until the start of the series folks! Be ready!

Those of you who don't already have me on PSN please send a request to duke_adam46

Sorry guys but I won't be there on next Monday, I have a last minute contingency.

Too bad, I was really expecting this first race at Monza. Hope you understand !

No problem David, I hope to see you at race two!

Hi,

First off, all drivers need to add my account 'duke_adam46' on PSN before the race. If you have not done so I won't chase you up and the start won't be delayed if you haven't added me in time.

TRACK LIMITS:

In real-life, Monza is a circuit where liberties are often taken by drivers when it comes to track limits. Here in the CORE Maserati Super Trofeo, we'll take a similarly chilled out attitude towards what you can and can't do around the track.

Here are some basic guidelines:

At the two chicanes, the only requirement is that you have two wheels OFF the kerb. Pictured below is the extreme limit of that philosophy.

Ascari is another section where some time can be extracted from pushing. Here, we will be particularly relaxed about the track limits. The line taken below is acceptable, the only requirement is for two wheels to be on the kerb.

Two wheels on the kerb is also required at the apex of the last part of the chicane.

However, the exit of the chicane is pretty much unlimited; go too far and you'll just find gravel or lose time anyway!

ROLLING START PROCEDURE:

There will be a full pace lap. The driver on pole will have control of when the race starts. We must form up in a two-by-two formation at around 50MPH before the entry to Parabolica.

There is a designated acceleration zone, and the leader can start the race at any point within the zone.

The zone begins here:

And ends here. If the polesitter has not accelerated by this point, the race is green regardless.

NOTE: The standing start sprint race will not have a warm-up lap.

I reckon that just about covers everything. Don't forget that pit entry and exit lines are strictly enforced here, and at Monza that includes cutting on the inside of the pit exit, too.

Have fun, race clean and help us kick-off the CORE Maserati Super Trofeo in the best way possible!

@adam46 regarding the rolling start, will it be standard CORE regulations of odds left evens right, or something different?

Also should we get a sign up sheet happening for round 1 festivities?

Yeah, odds on the left evens on the right.

And that sounds like a plan... @Glenalz81 @1996mikey2412 @redbullrider20 @fortbo @David Talle @TDZdave @SmileyWRX @TonyLomas
