It happens at every circuit, if you modulate the throttle on entry and time it wrong, it will just select ok for the default settings.

Best bet is to go full throttle or no throttle.
This, I've had it happen to me at the RBR also.

That race wen better than I had expected... I could have won if it wasn't for some silly moments throughout but the way it came down to the wire must've been fun for all of the live stream viewers. I wish I could've put on more of a fight but Zovo has been consistently faster than me all season long, it was only a matter of time before he caught me. Big thanks to all of the CORE staff, @MC CAULEY for the opportunity, and all of the other competitors for making it a great race.

Great work Redbull. Don't be worrying about not winning as being apart of a great fight and losing is better than winning easily. Hector is remembered as much as Achilles. (Although it's still better to be Achilles, haha)

We will get the car set up for the way you drive. Big Jim said he is making it his number one project between now and the next race. Hopefully we can find another 0.5 by then.

Does anyone has a suggestion on how to improve the connection so that I won't drop out in the middle of the race?

Everyone has had issues the last few days..problems on the PD side.., Make sure your connection is wired, reset your router/modem before you start and clear your GT6 cache via the options menu...thats about it..

Port forwarding is an option but only seems to help speed if there are another few devices in your home.. still suffer from DC's

Thanks. I need more specific instruction as how to set DMZ, open ports etc. I am using wired connection. it's an optic that gives me 12 MB/s. The modem/router is HG8245. I have asked the ISP many times for settings but without success.
Help needed, please!

It should be in the security settings of your router. Look around the net for instructions for your particular router.

It's weird how I probably have the worst internet here and I stayed in the room I think it is definitely a problem with the GT6 servers not anything else.

Just watched the livestream, was great to watch. Still loving my overtake for the lead on lap 45, felt epic at the time and was great to re-watch it. Shame the live timing screen bugged and they went on for about 45 minutes saying rcb was in the lead, but hey ho!

Yes, but I held you off for a long time. Let's remember I'm 13. Caine was a GT Academy National Finalist!

Yeah you put up a good fight. If i had a few extra mph on the straights might have been a different story, then there was the off on lap 1 which cost me a few seconds, my crash on lap 11 which caused me 2 pit early, then the damage at the start of my second stint which slowed me down for the entire stint (which i had to extend by 4 laps due to short opening stint) so all in all, lost about 45 seconds. Which is damn good for 3 hours. But still, it was a great effort by you, especially as you pitted 2 more times than me. Definately a BMW track though.

EDIT

Also, i am pleased with my performance at the UK finals, but kind of suprised how easy it was. Im not the fastest driver there, definately not the fittest and still made the top 10. No disrespect to Glen either, but he had a bad fitness result due to a previous injury reappearing, recieved penalties in the gaming challenges and still made the top 10.

It definately wasnt as intense as i was expecting for such a large competition and i would say there are several drivers in this championship who would do just as well as i did.

Should I be content or dissapointed with that race yesterday? I'm really split between the two. I'm really content that I held the head for a good part and got some TV time (finally!) but I was so close. Realistically if I had eliminated some stupid errors I could've won.

Looking at it team wise, I put Ayrton in a really good spot to fight for the win when his race is run. If he can get to the top of the podium and take overall that would max my driver points which would be really good.

Good luck to him, Nin-Chin, and the GTE contenders for the "first" race. I'll be watching, either from a car or the broadcast, but same deal.

We need the mics for comms and calling green

WSC runs mics all the way through the race and we had one dc last night

Mics turned on don't cause DC on their own. It all adds to it but they do affect the cars, (lag) Which is the most important thing in a driving game.

Calling green? You go when the cars around you go. It's that simple. I don't know what "Comms" are but I'm guessing that they are not as important as a stable car when going wheel to wheel with someone.

Like is said earlier. Are we here to race or here to chat?

Aint I the worst, haha.

The lag is stabilised by the room quality setting more than anything. Comms stands for communications, something Matt does before each race to remind everyone of the driver's brief and call the spec check

And calling green has been done by a CORE official since race 1.

Is there anything wrong with a microphone? As long as you are not singing away... does take the edge off a long race and make time go by as well..
